Not sure why it would break into pieces but I don’t like the idea of it being covered regardless.
Passenger side airbags are designed to inflate towards the windshield, some manufacturers intend to break the windshield. Once the airbag deploys and reaches the windshield it will deflect towards the passenger seat. No worries at all....

It’s not very thick plastic and seems a little brittle, just a thought.
Regardless hope it never happens.

Just finished the exhaust, removed the factory muffler, the secondary (?) cat and put a dynomax bullet in place. Sounds fantastic, I will try and get a video at some point this week.

Have to figure out why the blower stopped working all of a sudden in the front, rear air is still working but nothing else...

Did some vinyl wrapping on the radio surround and HVAC vents.
Ordered headers, hope to get those installed in the next couple weeks.
Lots of small things, LED tag lights, fixed dome light, black bow ties etc.

Slow down on progress as the transmission decided to grenade on me. Looking to do a full rebuild in the upcoming months. Back to daily driving the 335i.

Welcome aboard Kyle, from another NC guy.
Love the color, looks great.
I'm jealous of your console, I cant find one for under 300 never mind the cost of shipping.
The dash cover looks awesome, even dry fit.
What headers did you end up getting? I'm in the process of building my exhaust.
Sorry to hear about your trans. Hope you get it squared away soon.
At least you have a fun little daily. Is the 335i a manual?

The 335i is an auto, still lots of fun.
Headers I bought are from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JGRZTFS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Haven't had a chance to get them on, but hopefully soon.

Tahoe goes to the trans shop tomorrow, full rebuild is going to run me about $1200. Could be worse.

Thanks for the welcome.

Any more progress on the trans? $1200 is dirt cheap.

Transmission is done, cost $1400 after all was said and done. Full rebuild, new pump, etc. Shifting great, supercharger next in the plans BUT may be on hold if I decide to put a big single on my 335i first.
