So after a bunch of debating back and forth between various forced induction options, I finally decided to pull the trigger on the Armageddon Twin Turbo System for the Caddy. The "Hot" side just arrived. Still waiting on the Turbos and "cold" side to be delivered. Will be dropping everything off...
My worse fear... Windshield replacement. My concern centers around the HUD. I was told there is a special type of glass used from the factory and aftermarket replacement windshields distort the HUD projection. i.e. The image is out of focus, blurry, and just generally poor in image quality...
Sounds great... That's close to the same sound that my Magnaflow Catback puts out and I'm still stock before the Catback. On cold starts my truck is loud enough that I can hear it from my 3rd floor condo and I've had a neighbor leave an anonymous complaint about the noise on my front door...

Kooks LT Headers - BRAND NEW!! Never installed!!
SKU: 28602402
1-7/8" Stainless Headers. 2014-2020 GM Truck / 2015-2020 SUV 5.3L/6.2L.
Extreme 1300 Degree Ceramic Coating - Classic Polish (Silver).
Purchased as part of a supercharger build for my Escalade but I decided to go with the...
Kooks Stainless GREEN Catted Y-Pipe arrived yesterday. Still waiting on the headers. They got shipped to Jet-Hot for coating. I was hopeful that Whipple would have released the Gen 5 supercharger for the '15 and up SUV's by now but that doesn't look promising at this point. Now I'm trying to...
You absolutely killed it! Any pics of the air-ride install?
Totally off topic question but what dashcam are you using and how do you like it? Been thinking of getting one installed but undecided on what to get.
Another vote for Belltech. I have the BT 1019 kit with 2" spindles and the OEM spring isolators left in on the rear. My rear settled out to exactly 3". Never bottomed out and no free travel mod. You've got a lot of options since you don't have to work around MRC. I also hear good things...
Onstar... Mainly because the service came complimentary when I bought the Cadillac.
I also have AAA plus whatever my car insurance and my credit cards offer in the way of roadside assistance.
The Denali they did is sick!! I had serious truck envy when I watched those vids and was planning to copy a lot of what CCS did on my own Denali. I got as far as the full chrome delete and then the Cadillac sales guy started calling me and made an offer that was hard to refuse. I miss my...
I asked specifically about Classic silver polished vs. satin black vs. flat black. I ended up going with classic silver polished for appearance reasons. Plus it was $25 cheaper. LOL
Maybe others can chime in with some additional intel, but I thought it was pretty much a known fact that ceramic...
If it were me I would call any of the following and ask them what they use. It looks like all three have modified a Denali at least once.
Katech
hennessey
LMR (Houston)
Also, Classic Car Studio is right in your backyard (Brentwood, MO) and they have a custom built 2019 Denali on You Tube that...
@Racie Please keep us posted on how things turn out.
I thought it made more sense to do headers at the same time as a full custom exhaust so placed an order for Kooks Headers and the Green Catted y-pipe this morning. Unfortunately according to Kooks I might not actually get the headers...
I ran the Magnaflow 12909 with the same headers/catted y pipe on my 2019 Denali (rest of the exhaust was stock) and it didn't really sound too much different than stock.
I've got the full Magnaflow Catback exhaust (no other mods) on my Escalade now and its got a nice mellow tone to it. Cold...
Personal preference here but if the 2019 has the 10sp transmission that would probably be enough to convince me to pull the trigger. I had a '16 LTZ with the 6sp and it was a solid performer but IMHO the 10sp is flat out better.
Agree on the comments regarding 2wd vs 4wd as well...
I got one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Officially-Licensed-NAVY-Windshield-UV-Protective/dp/B08WH9Y371/ref=sr_1_136?dchild=1&keywords=ez+pass+holder&qid=1620352526&sr=8-136
Granted... I don't have a daily commute that requires the use of an EZ Pass so I had no need for a permanent mount.
Set of four Vossen HF6-1 Wheels
Matte Gunmetal with tinted face.
Size: 24X10
Bolt Pattern: 6x139.7
Fits: 2015 to 2020 Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade and maybe others with same bolt pattern.
Wheelset has about 4k miles on them. One wheel has a very slight amount of curb rash (see picture) which...
I used a light curb rash episode as an excuse to get new "shoes" on the Caddy. Same wheel, different finish... and a much, MUCH better road force balance job.
Also painted the front brake rotor "hats" black to match the rear.
Excuse my ignorance here but what's the difference between Tony's 2/4 kit and the Belltech 1019 2/4 kit?
When I swapped the MaxTrac stuff out for Belltech I was working with Tony as well. He actually did a pretty good job of giving me short/summarized answers to any questions that I had. I...
+1 what @STORMIN08 said...
Failing that.... I had a Lincoln Navigator with the same symptoms. Rode quiet on the highway, smooth roads, etc... Rattled like a MoFo on bumpy roads, when going over speed bumps/humps, etc.... Turned out to be a broken swaybar end-link. Just something else to...
I don't have any pictures to confirm but I would swear that my 2016 Tahoe LTZ and my 2019 Denali had the SAME console style. i.e. Both consoles came with the lids....
Is it possible that the console in the above pic is from a Tahoe LT?
