    Gotta remember, the Tahoe is my wife's ride and I only drive it once or twice a month. First time she mentioned anything was this past Saturday. Good thing is, that it actually looks like that the new front&rear sets will be here already on Friday, so I guess I know what I'll be doing on Saturday.

    Pretty close. :D It was the inside pad and I didn't take the rotor off, but it had nice grooves, too.

    Drove wife's Tahoe today and the left front was grinding so bad that I couldn't let it be until I get the slotted/drilled set w/ceramic pads in a couple if weeks. Bought the cheapest set of pads from Oreilly's and slapped them on. Sure was easy. Now she's good to go until I get everything...

    Changed the fugly coolant overflow reservoir to one that's quite a bit better looking.

    :word: While I actually do find it a bit surprising that even the fuel door doesn't lock, I still wouldn't want to hassle with a locking cap.

    IMO those "book values" don't mean jack. Why are sellers all the time advertising their stuff so-and-so many thousands off "book price" etc.? Anyway... In addition to those, check what the asking prices for individual sellers are in the local market. Check Craigslist, AutoTrader, Cars.com etc...

    During all the years of driving, I've never made the brand of fuel a big deal. As long as the octane is what is needed. Never had any issues due to any gas I've gotten. At least not that I know of. YMMV

    Finally drug my ass under the Tahoe and changed the fuel tank pressure sensor. Wasn't actually such a PITA I thought it would be. You are just working blind, but the sensor is easy to locate and R&R. Still PITA to fill up, though, and I've changed pretty much everything except the EVAP...

    I don't know the version. Doesn't say it on the box and I bought it used. The way I've figured it out is that it works on GMT900s, but most likely not on the K2XX SUVs/trucks.
