2016 yukon denali are seats actual a/c ?

Obviously it's not a separate system with it's own compressor etc. Pretty sure it has a fan under the seat and potentially a duct from the general AC system to direct cooled air to the fan to push it up.

Where are those two screws accessed from? I thought you said you didn't see any screws in the storage tray.

Would you buy your Yukon/Tahoe again?

Even with all the GM quirks, I don't see anything anywhere else that would interest me or my wife. And pickings are pretty damn slim nowadays if you want a full-size SUV with room for 7-8 plus proper (full-size?) cargo area, anyway. Not that we really need all that room, but since she's the...

    What brand of fluids?

My son-in-law has an 02 Sierra 4.3 V6 with 420K+ miles his grandpa bought brand new and gave to him when he went to college. At the time it had 250K+ miles. Knowing his grandpa and how stingy he is, I can guarantee you that thing hasn't had Amsoil, let alone a whole lot of synthetic oil ran...

New to the forum, bought a 2019 Yukon SLT Graphite Performance Edition in December 2019

Pretty sure it’s been a thing more like 10-15 years already.

With a quick glance it probably could give that impression. :D

Welcome on board! Nice looking truck. Even though I’ve never been a fan of black wheels.

2015 Tahoe LT 6 button keyfob shell replacement?

I bought two 4-button ones ($9.95ea.) and two 6-button ones ($12.95ea.) like these for my Silverado as well as my wife’s Suburban. Work fine, but the buttons on the Silverado fobs are wearing pretty fast. Can’t expect perfection for 10 bucks or so, of course. No Chevy logo on the back cover of...

Looks like just two clips at the back. And I actually like the ambient light in there as well as in the door handle cutouts.

    Anyone with a 2017 Escalade?

Just checked ours and found out that the the auto seat memory recall was disabled from the menu. Turned it on and now my remote works on 2, but wife’s doesn’t work on either. Go figure. And it doesn’t start to move until you open the door. In GMT900 and earlier the seat moved right when you hit...

    Anyone with a 2017 Escalade?

Hmmm... Maybe that’s the way it’s supposed to work, then. Kind of stupid, IMO, but oh well...

    Anyone with a 2017 Escalade?

My wife’s Suburban is the same. Doesn’t make sense since it’s always been just press-the-button-and-forget. Also don’t think remote 1/2 are working properly, either. Weird... Haven’t had any time to look into them yet. Will need to read the manual and do some experimenting with them to see if...

    Moving on up

I think so, too. Everything I found was in the 23-25K range with similar miles. Well..., this one was, too, but it took a few days and patience to wait it out to strike a deal. Guess there weren't too many people waving a wad of $100 bills in front of him, so he decided it was time to let it go...

    Moving on up

Yes, the ride is definitely smoother than on a Tahoe. Last Suburban we had was a 96 about 20 years ago. Since then it's only been shorter versions: couple of Expeditions (I know, I know...) after the Suburban but after that it's only been GMT900 Tahoes as well as an Escalade. My truck is...

    Should I or shouldn't i

Old fuel? Seriously??? Why did it have old fuel in it? Has it been sitting on their lot for, say, a year or more? I’d say it’s time stop dealing with their BS and move on to something else.

    Moving on up

This has Fullway, or something... Don't really get why the guy put something like that on it since he otherwise seemed to have maintained it well and judging by what he does for work (Sales Director at a beer distributor) and material stuff (big house on big lot in a nice area, several other...

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I'm one of the worst cheap-asses there is, so you can rest assured I will shop for the cheapest price possible. :D Without sacrificing quality, though. I usually buy AC Delco since I know they will work and the price is not that much more than store brands. As far as the rear shocks go, I'll go...

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Haha! Still need to do oil change and probably will also do rear end while I’m at it. Just something I usually do when I get a new ride to get a baseline. Tranny fluid has 50K on it, so might leave that alone for a while still. In addition to fluids, rear shocks are the only ones on the list...

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

New waterpump went in and the rattle is gone. Otherwise easy job except the stupid radiator petcock was in such position that it was almost impossible to grab so that you could turn it. Managed anyway and alls good again.

    Tune voided my Yukon warranty

Sucks it happened, OP, but more info related to the failure is needed. As mentioned earlier, just "cylinder #5 locked up" isn't getting us anywhere in trying to figure out anything. Need to know exactly what caused it to lock up. Hopefully you'll get at least some relief from GM. If not, and it...
