CEL help me figure out these codes

Has your P0121 reappeared? Has the truck learned to run properly again? I also have the P0121 code (no other codes) and I'm planning to clean the MAF and TB later this week.

Driver Side Lumbar Support Replacement Writeup - 2007 Escalade

Driver's side lumbar adjustment is pretty much dead on my wife's newly acquired 07 Tahoe LTZ. Passenger side works fine. I was thinking whether it would be possible to fix it the easy way by just swapping the working one from the other side. Anybody have any idea if the left and right...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Passenger rear tire was flat this morning and found it to be leaking from the inside lip where there was a small dent. Wife at least did not confess, so go figure... Maybe it was there when we got it. Oh well... Took it to a shop to get straightened. Will get it back tomorrow and then my quest...

Looking to trade in Tahoe for Escalade...Thoughts?

Wife had 07 Escalade a few years ago. Then I convinced her to trade it in for a C-class Mercedes because she didn't need the big thing. So, of course over the next almost three years, she kept complaining how awesome but way too small the MB is blahblahblah... So... Just traded the MB for 07...

    New Tahoe owner

Thanks! Found it myself, too. Guess it's time to clean the TB and probably MAF, too, while I'm in there. Cleard the code and was able to drive about 60 miles until it came back on. Anyway... Need to try the cleaning and see where that takes me.

I believe they are Versante 212s. Just too big and too black to my liking.

    New Tahoe owner

My wife, that is... But since she isn't much of a car forum person, so you guys will have to deal with me. :sorrysign: :D Her 07 LTZ is black on black and come pretty much fully loaded. Original window sticker shows almost $51K list price back in the day. It has 125K miles and despite the 26"...

    Lurker no more

My, my, how things change fast... :hmm: Sold my 01 3/4 ton XL a little over a week ago and a couple days later bought 03 1/2 ton XL. But that's not all, folks... Today traded my wife's 08 C350 MB for 07 Tahoe LTZ. Yeah, went a year older and has a couple of things (P0121 code and a scratch...

    Air stuck on defrost

Make sure you turn the key to the first position only. That's pretty much the only thing you need to pay attention to.

    Heater issue

Thanks, Red Rider! I actually had read through your thread before, but thought used another calibration method I found in some other thread. Today I then finally tried your method and lomand behold!!! It seems to have solved my issue! Haven't taken the truck for a ride yet to see if everything...

Buying a 2000 New body tahoe for $1100

Sounds like a decent deal if it runs/drives at least somewhat decently. I paid 2K for my Yukon but with a lot less issues.

    Heater issue

Tried the calibration, but to no avail. And while i was working in there, I realized the rear actually has the same issue. Hoses going into the heater core are hot and I'm getting hot air in all the outlets as designed, but only when it's cranked all the way to the right. Hence, I don't think...

How to fix Hot Air when A/C is on. Install new air mix/blend door actuator

Air mix blender, huh? Hmmm... I'm having the exact opposite issue. I get cold everywhere else except when I turn the temp knob all the way to the "full hot" setting beyond the normal 82. Both sides blow the same temp, as designed. Haven't tried the calibration yet, but I guess I'll start from...

    Heater issue

Yup. Temp goes to normal level and stays there.

    Heater issue

Rear heat and AC are fine, so no issues there. AC is nice and cold in the front, but I get proper heat only if I turn the temp knob past 82 to full hot. If I just turn it to 82, it's not really warm at all, maybe just a tad warmer than usual. I guess the easiest answer to most GMT800 heater...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Picked up a third tow seat from salvage yard. My Yukon XL didn't come with one when I bought it. Not sure what the PO did with it...

    Mileage Thread (00-06)

202869 in my 01 Yukon XL 2500 as of a few hours ago when I drove it on my driveway. Love the LQ4/4L80E.

    Lurker no more

I've lurked here for quite some time and just now decided to register... Having had a few GMT800 pickups, I'm definitely not new to these things. Even had a GMT900 a couple of years ago when my wife had a 2007 Escalade. My current ride is a 3/4 ton 2001 Yukon XL SLT with a tad over 200K miles...
