Yeah almost certain. I've done industrial maintenance for 15+ years and I'm 99% sure its inside or around the top of the firewall. I dont really want to tare the dash apart unless I have to due to causing more rattles than I fix. It sounds like its right under the dash but noises can throw you... -

fuel gauge stuck on E
yeah my last yukon a 96, i had to put 7 fuel pumps on it over a 10 year period. One of the pumps I put on (ac Delco) had a sending unit go bad after 2 weeks. My 05 Tahoe noises are from flexing of vehicle when the front right wheel travels. It's not a suspension problem or noise from there, it's in and around the dash on passenger side. I have oiled the door hinges and looked for anything that could be loose. I think it could be something loose... -
