OK...so now it's the climate control aspirator...

Seriously... a 10 minute job! Easy. The only tool needed was a flat blade to gently pry off the plastic grill piece. I just pulled the a-pillar plastic down a bit, reached in carefully above the headliner, pulled the unit towards me... the wires have plenty of slack...swapped the part and put it...

OK...so now it's the climate control aspirator...

Yeah, I do have the digital dual-zone auto climate control. I tried using a can of compressed air, but just thru the little vent from inside. Didn't do anything. I didn't take it apart yet, and I won't until I get the new part. At the moment, it's an intermittent problem, but I'm getting after...

Man, I gotta say I love my Tahoe...but there are so many things to stay on top of! LOL! To be expected with a 15 yr old truck, and at least it's not happening all at once! (knock on wood). Just one thing after another. Every. Freakin'. Week. So now it's the little overhead aspirator fan thing...

    CEL again,,,this time P0135

Thanks guys!!! I ordered it on Amazon Prime. AC Delco part # 213-1702. 43.00 free shipping. It’ll be here on Monday. And I crawled under for a quick look. Easily accessible, open-end wrench-ible, probably due to the fact that it isn’t a 4WD.

    CEL again,,,this time P0135

You are correct! It’s on again, so I will replace it. I started looking at the right AC Delco parts ( I only want to do this once, so I’m choosing the OE parts) but there seem to be a couple different part numbers? From what I’m reading, my code P0135, says it’s the O2 sensor on the drivers side...

    CEL again,,,this time P0135

Last night I cleared the code...without fixing it...cuz I just don't like driving with the CEL on. And how would I know if another problem popped up in the meantime? But I wrote down the code so that I could research it. I figured it would just pop up again today. Drove the car today...and no...

    CEL again,,,this time P0135

I got one of those little scanner things and up pops P0135. In doing some reading here, I saw where someone posted "check the fuse first". And now I can't find that post again! Anyone know which fuse? And if it's NOT the fuse, I read that changing that sensor is a real PITA! True?

    Retractable Cargo Cover Question

Here’s a re-cap of sorts, in case anyone else stumbles upon this in their search for a retractable cargo cover/ shade for their 00-06 Tahoe: I read somewhere, maybe elsewhere on this forum?, that most of the Tahoe’s that came with 3rd row seats (like mine) didn’t get the cargo cover, because you...

    Retractable Cargo Cover Question

158.00 plus shipping (18.00). Way too expensive, but they are so hard to find for the Tahoes! Plenty out there for Suburbans tho!

    Retractable Cargo Cover Question

The sunlight and this iPhone camera is doing weird things to the color of the interior in these pics for some reason... almost makes it look tan, light gray and whatever...but it’s all Pewter and it all matches! I have that black liner for loading and unloading my equipment and for my dog! And...

    Retractable Cargo Cover Question

Found another one on eBay. 63” UNcompressed and in Pewter/ Grey! And supposedly in great condition! Expensive, but what the hell, they are so hard to find... I bought it! It’ll get here by early next week. If it works, I’ll let you know and snap a few pics!

    Retractable Cargo Cover Question

Thanks Tony for keeping an eye open...really appreciated. But...that's the one I bought and sent back! It's maybe 63 1/2" compressed. Its 65-66" uncompressed. What's needed for a Tahoe is 63" UNcompressed, so that you can snap it into place. I'm still looking...

    Retractable Cargo Cover Question

I’m going to hold out for a Pewter/Gray one that’ll match my interior. Let me know if you run across any.

    Retractable Cargo Cover Question

Taupe color? Hard to tell from the pic. I have Pewter gray. If it’s a match color wise and size ( 63” UNcompressed), I’ll take it!

    Retractable Cargo Cover Question

I get it! Thanks guys! I guess there's a lot of other stuff that would be interchangeable between Tahoes and Suburbans, so these sellers just ASSUME the cargo cover will fit either.

    Retractable Cargo Cover Question

So, just out of curiosity, which model WOULD the 66" fit? Are Suburbans wider inside? Yukons or Yukon XLs? Escalades? I'm thinking that these sellers are just passing down mis-information from other ads (copy/paste) cause it's prevalent in all the ads I see from different sellers. "Fits...

    Retractable Cargo Cover Question

So, here's the main problem in trying to find one that fits...MOST of the ads read something like this one that's on ebay right now..."2000 - 2006 GM Chevy Tahoe Suburban GMC Yukon XL Escalade Cargo Cover Tan 66" (some of them don't even give dimensions, they just say will fit Tahoe, Suburban...

    Retractable Cargo Cover Question

Cover came today. No Go! Doesn't fit. The measurement he gave me was for the compressed size. It's actually 66", compresses down a couple of inches to snap in. I need 63" uncompressed, so from there it compresses a couple of inches to snap in.
