OK...so now it's the climate control aspirator...

Man, I gotta say I love my Tahoe...but there are so many things to stay on top of! LOL!
To be expected with a 15 yr old truck, and at least it's not happening all at once! (knock on wood).
Just one thing after another. Every. Freakin'. Week.

So now it's the little overhead aspirator fan thing making a racket. (And I'm 6'5", so I'm a little closer to it than most! LOL!) Honestly, I didn't know what the hell it was until I got home and logged on here. Found my answer instantly! Ordered one on Amazon Prime. (BTW, GM changed the part #). It'll be here tomorrow.

Thanks to this forum, I know what to look for and how to fix it myself! Lots of great knowledge here. Lots of cool people too! Just wanted to say thanks! I'm going to look into becoming a supporting member because this site is such a valuable resource. And I never noticed how many Tahoe/Yukons were out there til I got mine! And most are NBS.

Some guys just blow it out with some compressed air and it's good to go. Do you have the digital climate control?

Glad to hear the forum has been help. I know it sure did help me right after I bought my NBS Denali and still does help years later, and I have made sure to help others out here in return. I love this place.

Yeah, I do have the digital dual-zone auto climate control. I tried using a can of compressed air, but just thru the little vent from inside. Didn't do anything. I didn't take it apart yet, and I won't until I get the new part.
At the moment, it's an intermittent problem, but I'm getting after it now!

Seriously... a 10 minute job! Easy. The only tool needed was a flat blade to gently pry off the plastic grill piece. I just pulled the a-pillar plastic down a bit, reached in carefully above the headliner, pulled the unit towards me... the wires have plenty of slack...swapped the part and put it all back together! Silence!
