    Escalade wheels peeling, anyone painted, plastidip, powdercoated anything besides black?

    It is a huge tip to keep powder coat, or paint off of all mating surfaces. Contact points with the rotor, center bore, and lug nut seating areas. Otherwise you have too tight of a fit on the hub, lug nuts that don't stay tight, and run-out on the back surface, etc.

    Got my bull bar installed without the skid plate. Turns out this one doesn't even have a cross bar, so my front plate is fully visible.

    My PPV stereo seems sad even after have the front door speakers replaced with something pioneer, but as far as maps, nothing works better than my phone. I don't really need a sub, but would like to pick up a little more low end, maybe from the rear door speakers?

    I got my Vantrue dash cam running today. Pretty impressed so far. Easy to set-up and use, good video, and the WIFI is great. Can do everything right on my iPhone, and watch what the camera is seeing too. Now I just need to figure out how to get the power adaptor connected to ignition on power...

    The other thing different from getting the shift points changed, it now stays out of 5-6 gear while cruising around town below 35 mph, and also stays in 1st gear below 12 mph, or about 1500rpm when it shifts to 2nd at light throttle.     Got my AFM programmed out this morning. The truck runs so much smoother now. While he was at it he corrected my speedo for my 1/2 taller winter tires, and changed the mph shift point for 1-2-3 by a few. Between that, and running some E-85 this thing has some balls now. Best $150 I've spent lately.

    If you don't push it to hard, why not 100% torque management delete? I only had a problem with that once, when I was 16 with my dad's 64 Plymouth Valient with a slant 6, 3 on the tree, and I disintegrated the rear.

    On Monday I'm taking my 13 PPV to a local shop that can tune out my annoying AFM, adjust my speedo to a 1/2 inch taller tire, and adjust my shift points for $150. Is there anything to be concerned about, or what else should I have tweaked?

    I'm interested in installing a dash cam, and don't know what's the best for the money. I don't want to spend a lot, but don't want to cheap out either, and easy to install/use with good images is important with an adhesive mount instead of a suction cup. Thanks

    PPV Front and Rear Coil Spring Replacement

    I don't want to argue, but I would like to hear an explanation as to how a front sway bar could possibly resists nose dive, when anti-dive geometry is only designed into the suspension pivot points. Spring/shocks have some effect, but not the sway bar.

    Sway bars have nothing to do with nose dive, and the only time it doesn't add stiffness is when going straight down the road and both wheels hit the same bump. When cornering they add a lot of spring stiffness which is how they resist body roll. I drove my PPV for several days after I got it...
