Just found this. Went through a big puddle last week. I am pretty sire this is the culprit now. http://dirtyshirt.info/auto_knock_sensor_replacement.html

Might have to look into this now. My truck is doing the same thing between 50 to 55 only when it's floored though. Normal even moderate acceleration doesn't get it to hang up. But when it's floored it does it around 4700rpms.

Yah it's been bad. I live in Friendswood last 3 turns from my house went through the water. Been driving fine until I noticed on my way to work it had a hard time now from 50 to 55 mph when i have the pedal down to the floor.

I have a 2003 denali wanted to know if I could put on 20s. As long as the bolt pattern is correct it should be good? Right.
The speedo will have to be reprogrammed anything else I should know or look into.

Got a radiator leak that can't be patched anymore going to replace it now. Should I buy new or could score a deal in a junkyard and not worry. And chevy/gmc with a 6.0 should drop right in right?

I did the R1. You can catch a deal. If you got a junkyard with the parts I would go bigger. All my junkyards had been stripped.

Stripped a screw off in the brake caliper as I was putting new lines in. Any advice where to get a new caliper asap?

I wanted too. 2 pick and pulls in houston had nothing. Wound up buying some R1s. Gonna try to get them on this weekend

Changed out my rear brakes. Finally got time to remove the cracked rotor. Gave them a paint job too. Need to bleed the rear brakes again

I wish I had a story how it happened. Hasn't been driving bad just doing maintenance seen it as I was putting the wheel back on. Like oh shit. That's bad. Ordered some slotted off 1a auto. Paid just under 140 for pads and rotors.

Wanted to change the front rotors and pads out didn't have a hex bit couldn't get a Alan key to work so I bleed the brakes and rotated tires. Upon getting to the rear tires found this gem waiting. So she staying parked till I get some new rotors for the rear too.
