Yeah that what my mechanic said, the problem is I am leaving to go hunting Thursday morning and dont have time to mess around. He quoted me around 200 for the lines. I am more concerned with the shocks, I imagine they are not cheap!
Does anyone know what the part numbers are for the front shocks for 2010 Escalade Platinum? My mechanic told me that one is leaking along with the lines for the tranny cooler, WTF!
It all depends! First off you buying new mirrors or used? Can you instal them yourself? Do you know anyone in a shop? My local shop owner has a GM part time mechanic who was able to come with his laptop and stand alone to program my switch which saved me some cash. So back to your original...
Why are you doing this swap? I was concerned when I first got my truck with the horrible streets and craters for potholes here in NYC especially that I have a heavy foot. I hit some nastly potholes and not so much even got a bubble in a tire or bend in a rim....
I just realized my truck doesnt have rear power fold seats? Did GM elimintate them? Or did the original owner orderit w/o them? My 07 Denali had them so I am surprised this truck doesnt have them!
I see many posting that the asking price is high but I disagree! My 07 Denali w/90k+ was totaled about 5 months ago and the insurance cut me a check for $30k! So a 2008 with less miles is a steal at $25! JMHO
I think differant states have differant markets which causes the prices to fluctuate....
Bingo! :Handshake:

I dont know why people bash Ford??? I have had several mustangs, E350 work vans, F250's, Lincoln LSC's, Navigators and they were more reliable then the two Esky's and Denali that I...
You are asking a question which is impossible to answer! I know people with trucks with less then 50K and they are in the dealer every other week with issues. BUT on the other hand when I was car shopping I came across several really high mileage trucks which ran and rode like new! Go figure....
DAM! Sorry to hear that!
I would go get a receipt for 30" Foose rims and the most expensive tires you can find and submit it to the insurance company! Then go buy two sets of 22's, one for summer & one for the winter.
You didnt like the Navigator? I had a 99 Nav and it was 1000% better then the 2000 Escalade that I bought! It handled better, rode nicer, more powerfull by far, better in the snow and better fuel economy! AND was much more reliable! Other then that......lol
Good luck with the new purchase!
No way! Think about it, if 80lbs decreased the mileage can you imagine loading 8 adults! 8 x 175lbs!
Dont get me wrong every lb counts but the weight of the seats is probably a .10 - .25mpg decrease at best.

I agree! But the hardest part if you OCD like me is trying to find the right truck which can be very difficult when buying used. I was dead set on White Diamond w/black leather but trying to find one with particular miles for a particular price in near mint condition was nearly impossible...
