got a flat need help with replacement

there should be a cap near your license plate that covers the hole to release the tire. with the tools supplied with the car (should be a jack, tire iron, etc.) one of those will fit into the hole and you need to rotate it counter clockwise to drop the wire that holds the tire up.

Coming up on the big 200K

So it's been a long ride. In a few weeks my truck will be passing the 200,000 mark. What am I looking at into a tune up? I'm thinking of flushing the entire system. Plugs and wires were put in a few thousand miles ago. Distributor cap is cracked where the bolt holds it down, does it need to be...

Clear coat coming off---Do I wash my car too much? A friendly family debate :)

sounds like the paint is oxidizing. common problem to many people. try not to park it in the sun as much. i hear that turtle wax can help in getting some of it off, but you'll most likely need to repaint those areas. When it comes to keeping my truck clean I have OCD. It needs to be spotless...

    vacuum leak

I'll be sure to check on the fuse and lines as well. I do know for a fact I have a misfire. Problem is I don't know which one it is since my little brother cleared my codes without reading them. Shame. I'm waiting for the check engine to come on. It's on as of now but it's only reading the other...

    vacuum leak

so for a while now, i've been throwing 2 codes that are pissing me off. P0171 and P0174, running lean banks 1 & 2. I did remove my intake manifold a while ago, but put it back without a problem. While the engine was running I used carberator spray to find the leak, but it didn't work. My next...

could be that there are bare wires behind the HVAC. or, less likely, the buttons are broken. pull them off to see if the plastic cylinder is still intact

    Quick HID question

DDM offers top of the line products at prices that are reasonable. They also have a lifetime warranty on their kits, even though they never stop working. IMO they're the best dealer of HID bulbs around. Nothing beats em' bro.
