    A friend of mine can do an ls cam swap in three to four hours but he`s a mechanic and has done a bunch of them. I would say you could get it done in an afternoon if its your first time.

    From what i remember you want a strap rated for three to four times the vehicle weight. If you`re going to be getting your truck buried in two feet of mud i would get a 30k but 20k should be ok otherwise.

    It all depends on your tire and wheel size and if you do a lot of highway driving or care about MPG. And depending how much power you plan on making you should think about a 4L80e transmission swap and beef up the rear end with axles and a locker or posi unit.

    I have had hub bearings make horrible noises and still be very tight when you tried the 12 and 6 wiggle so if you can`t find anything else responsible for the noise it could still be the bearings. AWD denali`s are known to chew up front differentials so pull the drain plug and see if the magnet...

    My first choice of color was bermuda blue metallic but couldn`t find one anywhere. I even painted my 87 suburban that color. We found my yukon with 22k when it was 2 years old for a pretty good deal so we jumped on it.

    With a 44 muffler it`s going to be loud no matter what lol. I don`t believe it will be any louder with dual tails.     When i did the upgrade i took the cores back to advance auto and they didn`t even look in the box. Not that anyone working there would know the difference anyway.

    That was from last year, The rain washed all the salt away last weekend allowing me to use my truck.

    They don`t pre treat the roads with that over here and from what i remember you`re also in orange county right? They pre treat the roads here by leaving this much salt on the road after an inch of snow falls. This is my street and it`s not a concrete road, That`s all salt.
