Nevermind.. it only blows when the truck is on. If the truck is off they work fine. Once the truck turns on it blows a second later.

Hey guys thanks for the help. I found out that if i flip the add a fuse around it stopped blowing. I think it was some how pulling heat or something from the other fuse or fuses.

    Wheel lights fuse blown

No it was pretty simple stupid instructions. Plug the 4 wheel lights to a control box that breaks off to a positive and negative cable. Then as a “Pro-Tip” use a add a fuse to attach a 5A fuse. Im going to look over all my wiring to look for tears or anything out of the ordinary that i...

Update- I changed the fuse out to a 10A (dont have another 5A) they are working fine but i still don't understand why it blew the first time? Would keeping the 10A fuse be bad?

    Wheel lights fuse blown

They don’t have the wattage posted anywhere only 12V. They are 4 LED ring lights. The kit has 4 separate lines for each ring that are about 8 feet long to a little box that separates to a little switch and then to positive/negative wires. I had to add maybe 4 feet of 16 gauge positive wire to...

    Bagged rear lift

Hey guys, Does anyone have any knowledge of what kind of bags I would need to lift it a few inches and lower back to stock height? Would helper bags accomplish this or do they only lift it when it is compressed?

Anyone with 7-9 lift? Question on tie rods.

I have a 7-9 FTS lift and need to change the tie rods but the tie rods they have are 250 bucks. Does anyone run anything else that I'm not aware of? I know that regular tie-rods are too long and have to be cut but not a big fan of that. I just wanna drop it off at a shop and let them change them...

    questions on stall converter

Hey guys! I have a 07 Tahoe 5.3 179k miles with rebuilt tranny (45k miles). Just put an 11-inch lift with 37s on. My problem is my rear main seal is leaking pretty bad. If I'm wanting to do a TSP stage 3 cam 216/220 .600 114 LSA, which I believe needs a 2600-2800 stall. If I install the stall...

Looking for advice on 37s tires

McGaughys is a great lift, I would also recommend maxtrac suspension (cheaper but still the same quality). I have toyo open country and love them, Gladiators are good too.

rack and pinion broken passenger bracket

after lifting the hoe I have had clucks and pops coming from the front end. It would pop when turning almost to full crank. I look under and the passenger side bracket is held in by one bolt on the bottom. the top bolt is just holding a broken piece there that is no longer doing anything...

Not totally sold that the trans is shot.

I had something similar but my throttle body was pretty dirty. When you clean it just be careful of moving the butterfly flap back and forth, and you will have to plug a scanner in it to relearn the throttle body or it will just idle high. I have seen some people start it let it idle for some...

Rear Main+AFM delete.. might as well put a cam in it?

I’m not too familiar with cams really but i would think if i have to replace the rear main and want to delete the AFM it would be a good time to put a cam in. Ive been wanting an aggressive idle/sound, i’m not to concerned about power as it is my daily and i’m in college with a budget. Anyone...

Ideas on what else to replace while doing oil pan gasket

late response but I jacked it up from the exhaust on the driver side. I believe those bolts are strong enough for that and it worked out fine. Some people use a 2x4 on the oil pan but I figured the exhaust would be better since its on that side.
