I saw those a little bit ago and reached out to them asking if these would be a correct fit for my vehicle since I have blind spot monitoring and power folding mirrors. This was their response:
“Hello,
Thank you for contacting us. Upon inspection of our listing, it seems as though the mirror...
There are a couple of videos posted on thread #43 on this post: http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/iphone-8-wireless-charging.97202/page-5
Leave the thing he calls a "repeater" in, and only remove the magnet. Sounds like it is hit and miss for people that have done it. For me, it works 100%...
I think you can get to the "On" position by: First, making sure the engine is off. Do not put your foot on the brake, and then press and hold the 'start' button for about 10 seconds (could be less. my memory isn't the best... but you'll know when it happens)
I got the hitch yesterday and did a test fit this morning. This is exactly what I was looking for. Fit and finish is amazing and looks to be extremely well made.
Added bonus, the box it came in fits perfectly under the floor in the rear cargo area. Always ready for a tow.
I've got the 285/60-20 DuraTracs that you mentioned. No rubbing with my level. You might be able to pull off a 34" tire, but it would be very VERY close and you may have to do some trimming.
So far it has worked exactly I would have expected it to from the factory. I had about an hour drive last night last night, with the iPhone constantly being picked up, used, and placed back on the charging pad. It worked the entire time.
All I did was remove the entire module from the truck...
I just did the magnet delete mod to my 16 Yukon XL Denali. Super easy. Took about 10 minutes and now I can charge my iPhone X by placing it on the pad. The screen on both the iPhone and the car show that it is in fact charging, and I can pick up, use, and put the phone back down over and over...
Thanks for the input! I'm planning on rotating every 5,000-7,500 miles or so. Everyday I drive right by the tire store where I bought them from, so I really have no excuse to not keep them rotated.
Just bit the bullet on a new hitch. I've got a handful of hitches already, but none of them have enough drop to level a trailer. I've been watching this one online for awhile now and the only price I've ever seen for it was $309. Etrailer must have this as part of their Black Friday special as...
Those do look good. I am admittedly ignorant when it comes to exhaust, but are these solely for aesthetic purposes, or are there any performance benefits that these provide?
I'm really please with the way things turned out. I had a pretty good idea of what it would look like though since I saw this post back in January: http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/leveling-kit-tires-wheels-grill-installed-2015-yukon.87258/
Pictures just can't do it justice, and looks even...
I'd say the noise is only slightly more noticeable. I was actually expecting to be pretty bad compared to stock, so I'm pretty stoked that I only really hear it with the music off and if I'm really listening for it. Also, it's been cold here so the windows have been up the whole time, I'm sure...
I finally pulled the trigger and got some new tires for my XL Denali. I went with the 285/60/20 Duratracs. They accomplish the look and style that I was going for. The larger tire size and the level just looks "right" to me compared to stock. I've had them for a few days and so far no rubbing...
I just had 285/60/20 Duratracs installed a few days ago (pics coming soon, I promise). I'm leveled and haven't experienced any rubbing yet, but is super tight, and I'm sure I'll get a rub with the right combination of an uneven road and a tight turn. If you are comfortable trimming your fender...
