Hello,

I have read a few positive reviews of the 2292 sway bar set for Gen 4's and I wanted to grab one but even on the Hotchkiss site they don't have a set. Jeg's just says out of stock, I am wondering if anyone knows a place I could order these from? Thanks!

The Hotchkiss website appears to have this sway bar in stock, up to and including adding the set to the Cart and getting ready to checkout. I did not proceed any further, so I don't know if an 'out of stock' advisory came afterward.

I would suggest as an alternative (and a better sway bar IMO) that you look into Hellwig sway bars.

Thanks. I will check again but they only had one bar and not the front and back when I checked, while Jegs had the kit of both listed for less than a single bar from Hotchkis direct. I wonder if the set is discontinued or it will be back in stock. Will look for Hellwig as an alternative.

I ordered the Hotchkiss bars and waited over 3 months, and then they tried extending that another 3 months. I just said forget it and got a refund.

I've had Hotchkiss bars on my '08 Tahoe for about 10 years now. The truck is equipped with 2-inch drop spindles in the front and 2-inch drop springs in the rear.

While the performance and functionality of the bars are great, I have some concerns about their durability. Over time, the coating they use starts to rust, and the supplied bushings don’t hold up well. I've had to replace the bushings three times already.

If you're considering these, you might want to explore other brands that offer better long-term durability.
