Inserting oem tranmission oil cooler lines

Just finished installing it. While I'm at it, I'll be replacing the damaged condensor. As for the connections to the main radiator, how does the order go? Trans line to bottom radiator connector. Top radiator connector hose to trans cooler?

Inserting oem tranmission oil cooler lines

So, I bought oem transmission oil cooler lines, and an oem transmission oil cooler radiator. While in the process of routing the lines where they connect to the trans oil cooler, how in the world do you insert the very long portion of the steel line in such a small hole? I've twisted and turned...

Interested in beefing up my Suburban

I'm not interested in massive towing, but at least tow a bit more and perform better at it than what I have now.

Interested in beefing up my Suburban

I'm purchasing 20mins away from Williston. I'm still in the process, but if anything falls off in escrow, I also have other properties I'm interested in. I'll look into just switching out the torque converter accordingly, installing the main seal, and if the LMG is worth deleting dod, and just...

Interested in beefing up my Suburban

Hello again everyone. I've been thinking about beefing up my 2011 Burb LT 2wd with 127k miles for quite some time. Now that I'm in the process in buying a small 10 acre ranch in North Dakota, I would like someone to steer me in the right direction on this build. So far, I've replaced all...

    Suburban towing a Suburban

Tongue info in this website made me shy away from towing heavier stuff than what I already haul in my small trailer. https://community.goodsam.com/t5/travel-trailer-group/suburban-2500-gmt900-towing-build-11th-gen/td-p/2597664/page/2 Anyway, this is besides the point. We decided to just rent a...

    Suburban towing a Suburban

Oh... I see... well, I added some type of spring 2 yrs ago that lifted up the suburban about 2-3 inches. Here is the link to my thread install from almost 2yrs ago. https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/help-with-reviving-suspension.129547/

    Suburban towing a Suburban

Although we all agree on f'uh CAFE (statistics back it up), I'm totally up for 3.73 gears. I mean, I live in 3000ft elevation and I just average 12mpg wussy peddling everywhere (I baby my torque converter). I've also installed a new oem water pump, replaced all coolant, new air filter, new spark...

    Suburban towing a Suburban

That's the thing. He wants to reserve a 20ft uhaul box trailer, but he has a lot of stuff to pack. Things he's going to load in the box truck is his harley, 2 big sofas, washer dryer, dining table with 6 chairs, arcade, living room table sets, computer desk, 3 beds, a couple of dressers, guns...

    Suburban towing a Suburban

Hey everyone. As stated, I would like to know what I need to do with my 2011 Suburban LT 2wd to tow another Suburban (2013 LT as well). I have bilstein 4600 all around, 2500 springs, Hellwig front and rear sway bars, but still have the stock trans, stock torque converter, and the relaxed 3.08...

Is it possible to keep truck too long?

Very true. If there's massive rust in panels and frame, move on to another vehicle without rust. I live in Socal, the Antelope Valley area, and my cars have no rust at all.

Is it possible to keep truck too long?

True. Business owners, and independent 1099 workers can write off new vehicles that weigh at least 6000lbs on tax code 179. It just needs to pass certain prerequisites. I think it has to be no less than a few years and use it for business for the most part. I own a business, and tried to do that...

Is it possible to keep truck too long?

100000% agree. Another reason why older is better. You just have to take your time and research what will work best for you. The GMT900 will be my last new car I'll ever buy. Once it gives up on me, I'll just repair it, or get me an older model thats was well maintained. They're out there...

Is it possible to keep truck too long?

Keeping it and maintaining it beats financing another vehicle now-a-days. The feds really aren't stopping with interest rates anytime soon, plus, inflation keeps getting worse. I would keep it. The only thing painful about the 6l80 is that you cannot swap just any 6l80. It also needs to be...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Washed her. Cleaned her up so I can take pics to sell her (black on black 2011 Suburban LT 1500), and buy me a Silverado 2500hd. I then glimpsed at her again, and I just couldn't bear selling her. I mean, I've spent over $4k replacing oem suspension components, plus have installed Hellwig sway...

How many miles did you get out of your original Transmission?

2011 Suburban 1500 LT here with 123k miles. When I got it, I did a drain and fill. The old oil was dark as hell. Not a good sign. It shifts fine so far though. I'm going to try a drain and fill again and install a new oil strainer and ring seal just in case.

    Help with reviving suspension

Yes! Both front and back, plus installed the adapters up front so it wont hit the transmission lines. $800 for both, but well worth it!

    Help with reviving suspension

Sorry for the late reply. Too much drama in my life now, but the ride is amazing! Night and day difference from the old suspension, plus it is now much more tamed and controlled! I highly recommend it if you have $2k to invest in a suspension that will last you another 100k miles! I'm going to...

    Help with reviving suspension

Just had the time to finish the full suspension overhaul. I just took it to an alignment shop, and let me tell ya, it rides amazing! Even the old lady was impressed! Those Hellwig sway bars work wonders, and the Bilstein 4600s keep it very well under control! The heavy duty springs lifted the...
