    The scoop is functional. The louvers are not. I wouldn't want water getting on the inside. If I were to cut them I'll have to mount a tray under them to guide the water somewhere else

Since they made the striker shorter than the factory striker, it hits the back of the latch where the hood open sensor goes. I shaved off allot of plastic but still wasn't enough to fully latch...

    Yes it did. Also hit the neighbors house as well. I was thinking for about a minute before the tree fell, should move the truck before it falls on it. I'm glad I didn't. The tree was leaning to the side on the second tree before it fell completely. Right before I was about to get into it, it fell.
