Yukon bmc cowl hood

So far I'm not impressed. No reinforcement for the hood latch. It's just stuck there with the fiber glass. You definitely can't run this hood without a hood pins. I purchased an duraflex hood for my mustang and it's high quality compared to this. Especially in the hood latch area. Very solid with no flex. I run it without a hood pins. I will continue to update this thread with pictures of the hood up until it's completion

I did have a wreck back in June. Currently putting my truck back together. Wasn't my fault. Air bag didn't deploy because of the front passenger bumper sensor

As for the hood, yeah... that won’t last and I’m not too sure about the way hood pins will look. Maybe sell that one and look for a steel one...

I would never buy a fiberglass hood. I went with a steel cowl one, works good. Details on that accident that wasn’t your fault.
