Thank you very much!! So the whole cable has to be replaced too? The plastic piece is what broke, I saw that they sell it for the early 2000s model? Thank you again for that quick response -

Interior hood Release latch
I have 2012 Tahoe z71 and when trying to open my hood in this cold Chicago weather the plastic broke. I haven’t been able to find a part# has anybody in here replaced it yet?
