What "must have" option bumped you to the next trim level?

I would say center sections are leather while all others are vinyl. I don't know but basing it on feel and wear.

How many of you DO NOT experience buffetting and vibration problem?

buffeting is Less noticeable in terms of noise and seems to not affect everyone. It's a sensation...like a sick feeling (added head pressure/ears popping) like when flying. I'm on my 2nd set of michelins with all four RF under 12lbs and our buffeting is 99% gone. I went through 3 sets of oem...

What "must have" option bumped you to the next trim level?

    True. It definitely stretches differently

What "must have" option bumped you to the next trim level?

I know the denali leather is nicer than the SLT but isn't the SLT even a step up from the std LT Leather? I know the SLT is perforated while the LT is smooth.

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

They require you to purchase through an audio elec dealer. There are a handful that sell Rosen (Carshow). I purchased my headrests through www.adcmobile.com. You can get the correct part # here: http://www.rosenelectronics.com/pdf/ALL ROSEN HEADREST 7200 _ 7950_ 8900 APP GUIDE w 3 tiers -...

How many of you DO NOT experience buffetting and vibration problem?

No. The issue is when the vehicle is all closed up with windows fully closed. There is a consistent ear popping sensation at certain speeds. Some are more sensitive to it than others. yes, it is very common for almost every car nowadays to have this sesation when one or a rear window open.

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I have around $450 all in... The monitor system was brand new but was for a 2016 Ford F150. A Dealer purchased but buyer backed out...I picked up the entire system for $300 All brand new still in plastic. Knowing that I could pick up the Yukon headrest from Rosen for $120, I purchased the...

Looking to buy new 2017 Yukon

Well, it came directly from a VP within the cadillac division so take it for what it's worth. Additionally, last year the engineer I worked with also stated that "GM has been buying back a lot of these trucks". When working with multiple engineers over the last 2yrs with our 15 XL they all...

    Best hid kit

Depending on what you want to spend...go with Denso, Hella or other OEM ballast and Phillips/Osram 4300k bulbs. Or pickup a set of denali lights and do a factory conversion. However, I've used xenondepot H11 Extreme kit with rebased Phillips 85122 (4300k) bulbs and it is about as oem as...

Do You Regret: Short-Body vs Long-Body

What he said^^^^ Plus with 3+ kids, I think a LWB is almost a must unless you never plan on making any overnight road trips with family. I always preferred the look of the SWB with the pre15 trucks but with the 15+ models I tend to favor the looks of LWB. Don't get me wrong, I like both...

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

hardwired using the aux audio jack or wirelessly using FM channel (surprisingly not much quality is loss this way.) However, 99% of the time the four wireless headsets are used. The interface has an "audio" out jack so I have an audio cable running into console and will plug it there if truck...

    B.S. or True??

I'd be curious if you called a GM online parts store and check wait time. You can jump online and order a steering wheel for a 17 in 5min and they show them as available. It may end up being a 3wk wait, but I'd be curious.

How many of you DO NOT experience buffetting and vibration problem?

This is pretty much typical with any modern car today. The buffeting issue with these trucks occurs when all windows are closed and at different speeds. It's somewhat of a sound but is more less a sensation / pressure feeling...like when changing elevations quickly.

    Picked one up...

^^ yes and yes^^ Yeah, I have a feeling the rear of both will look too soft and we van'ish like. We'll see. I did not care for the 15 Yukon and definitely the tahoe when first revealed..

    Picked one up...

I hear ya...i'd take the ford front clip and tahoe rear, however. Not sure why but The chevy front clip still doesnt flow with rest of body to me. From what little I've seen in person so far, the overall quality and fit and finish of the interior seems a step up from our SLT. Not sure...

Congrats! As someone else mentioned, if you were considering the 17 expedition, you should have waited two months to test drive the all new 18 expedition. Light years ahead of the current model.

What did you do to your 2015-2020 K2XX Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Had Michelin Defenders installed in the oem 275/55/20 size. Had Michelin Premier LTXs prior and they only lasted 26k...The defenders seem to have a much better ride and look much better!

Michelin Defender 275/55/20 or 60 series?

well, last minute I decided to go back to the oem size. There are two areas that would have been tight and rather than dealing also with the speedometer being off, i went with the 55 series. If I had planned on doing a simple leveling kit , I would have given the 60 series a try. I think the...

2017 Tahoe Premier vs Yukon Denali---which would you buy and why?

Is the Yukon premium edition leather same as SLT and LTZ? A Family member just picked up 17 yukon premium and the leather seemed nicer tgan our 15 but it could have been due to the "NEW" factor. Stitching and seams are same so I'm sure it's same quality.

2017 Tahoe Premier vs Yukon Denali---which would you buy and why?

^^^^The leather and interior alone would have me going with Denali.
