I believe it is the switch, i have a replacement at home that i can try on it. I just have basic hand tools with me at work so i cant check it to make sure. The other windows still go up and down as well as the door lock.
Where exactly is the scree on the switch or the trim?
So i get to work this morning, roll my window down to enter the parking garage and now it will not go back up and of course it is raining today. Anyone have any tips on how to roll it back up? Yesterday it didn’t want to go down on time. I tried again and to worked fine. I thought it was a...
So after having a tire issue on the road for the first time since owning my Tahoe I have decided that i need to carry a better lug wrench with me in the truck. I was thinking just a craftsman breaker bar and extension. Does anyone have any recommendations on a lug wrench to carry with me? I like...
I have placed an order with Summit racing for the original part number shock. They claim they can get it but it will take 3 weeks. We will see I guess.
So a crawl under the truck and it does have the Sachs 10363040 red shocks. The are bigger than the standard shock I always thought these were Nivomat shocks?
So I found this note for this part number:
SELF-ADJ MANUAL LEVEL CONTROL(G65), PREMIUM SMOOTH RIDE CHAS PKG(ZW7); EXCEPT "OFF ROAD" APPEARANCE PKG(BPH)
I have BPH… any ideas why this would matter?
They placed my order on hold again. This time they asked me what I wanted to do. I told them to fill my order! As I was typing they canceled the order saying the parts were on back order..
GM parts direct canceled my order they said the correct part number is 10363040 and that it has been discontinued. They told me this via e-mail as they do not answer phone calls… so anyone know if this is correct?
The Nivomats on my 2005 z71 2x4 are shot. I need to find a source for a new set. Does anyone have the part numbers and a source for purchase. Also who makes these I saw a set of sachs nivomats for $1,500 surely they aren’t that much are they? I have a new set of Bilstein shocks and springs that...
I think it is time to replace my shocks. I replaced the fronts with Bilstein replacements about 4-5 years ago. The passenger side appears to be leaking. So they need to be replaced.
I was looking at the AC Delco 5405063 shocks for the front and the Bilstein spring/shock combo for the rear...
