    Check for any possible vac leaks, PCV too....with these michigan -20* temps those tubes like to play jokes...those fittings on the blower can get loose as well as the boost gauge t fitting...mine was cracked last winter, caught it on time

    I work with him so ill ask him about the resonator...but it is basically a tuned exhaust...if they want it louder at certain RPM and quieter at another, both the resonator and the muffler work together...if you notice the inside of the resonator, it will have a hole randomly into the inside...

    THe raspines you mention is when its cold...when i remote start it in the morning and listen to it outside its pretty raspy...give it two three minutes and it disappears.... overall it really sounds like an LS, other than the stock smooth cam... the stock denali exhaust sounds pretty "cammed"...
