Lol. Except for all those folks using it on mag ride trucks. But time will tell I guess. I have a couple more months before mine is built….so plenty of time to see
I’ll be doing the same tire size, perhaps 65 series, and stock GM 18’s…..a 1/4 spacer is all that I think will be needed to clear arms. Maybe some minor trimming, but with a 3.5” lift I doubt it. A level, I’m sure you will be trimming. Maybe more than you want.
No idea what you are referring to. I’m not encouraging or warning against any lift kit. Your claim was vague and the data you posted wasn’t even the correct vehicle. This is a Tahoe/Yukon forum…..not Silverado/sierra. They aren’t the same. If you have info on broken, lifted, current gen...
2 things. 1: That is a P/U truck. 2: SUV AT4’s and Z71’s do not have any factory lift or anything over a standard Tahoe or Yukon. I’ll ask again…..where are the lifted current gen GM SUV’s with broken suspension?
It not uncommon for folks that work in these industries to not be car/truck people and have little idea what they work on. Liability will cause folks to ********.
Much like some cops or .mil folks. They work in an environment rich with firearms yet are as ignorant on the subject as let’s go...
Well you can always change it later. A level just looks correct for a start. A 3.5” is about the minimum where you know it’s been lifted a little. But not so much that it looks bro dozer. IMO.
I’m not sure where you get your info from….but a z71 tahoe is not higher than any other 4x4 trim level. Same goes for AT4 vs Denali etc. They all have same clearance. Different body work only aside from magnaride and air ride in some. These are not the same as sierra or Silverado trucks where...
You are 100% correct. Mall crawler jeeps, for instance. Its all personal preferance to me....nothing more. I, personally, wouldnt buy the mac-daddy trim level and try to make it look like something it wasnt intended one being. Might just be the 22's....dunno. 20's are boarderline for me. I...
Under the skin sure, but the image they give and purpose they mean to fill are different. There isn’t anything off-roady about a Denali. It’s purely aesthetic, and wouldn’t be an issue to me if they didn’t offer already off-road type trim levels. I have had 2 Denalis and 1 Escalade and none...
