    Transmission flare fitting at radiator

The c-clips I removed and installed with a pic and by hand. But what I see leaking is not the tube @ the fitting but the end of fitting @ radiator.

    Transmission flare fitting at radiator

This pic is my old radiator. The new fittings that came with new rad leak at threads. The pipe is push style with the funky c-clip retainer but that fitting leaks.

    Transmission flare fitting at radiator

These trans cooler fittings leak out the threads.

    Transmission flare fitting at radiator

Swapping out the radiator and the tranny line flare fittings are a problem. One I THINK is sealed. The lower leaks bad. Fitting is tight. Tighter than my fuel filter fittings thats for sure. What can I do? Try the old fitting? I bought some permatex teflon sealer but the flare should be...

    Fuel pump question

I looked at evap hoses fwiw and there was a hose from tank to evap that wasn't completely connected. Hoping that was it. Messed with it and it clicked as if it was only partially on. Seems i would have got a SES but I dont. It's near drivetrain and i did have some work done in that area some...

    Fuel pump question

Also..so how does a full tank affect that canister? Does fuel rise that high when full tank?

    Fuel pump question

Ok. So it would likely be leaking or show residue, correct? Unfamiliar with the unit.

    Fuel pump question

Hello guys, Getting a fuel smell ONLY when full tank. Thought I would see fuel stained residue around the top but all I see is rust. I have a new seal that I was planning to install but unsure if that's really my issue. Would you suggest doing it anyway or ???? Pump is 6yrs old and 40k...

My oil pressure gauge is pegged...is that bad?

I found that drilling a hole near the throttle cable was a good place to put the wires through. The larger harness others have used was too snug it seemed to get more wires through, at least reasonably with my skills.

My oil pressure gauge is pegged...is that bad?

So, update: I have the new gauge tee-d off so I can keep the stock one active. Any issues with the stock sensor will be easy to fix since it is now more accessible. Have to wire in the new one to the cabin but it does work so when I finish i will know what max pressure will be at higher rpm.

My oil pressure gauge is pegged...is that bad?

I'm checking in to that. Just yesterday I learned of these add a curcuit, piggyback fuse things which now totally simplifies my issue. Didn't know they were made...stumbled into it on the internet. You don't know what you don't know!! :))

My oil pressure gauge is pegged...is that bad?

I've got all my parts and stuff to install a secondary aftermarket electrical pressure gauge. The stock one still has issues and no matter what gets resolved in it I will have the new one as well which will be tee off the pressure port My only hiccup right now is how to get switched power that...

My oil pressure gauge is pegged...is that bad?

My oil pressure gauge is pegged...is that bad?

So do you feel the sender should fix it? Gosh I hate to buy it just to guess but I know of nothing else. The new stepper doesn't jerk and skip so maybe it's working ok.

My oil pressure gauge is pegged...is that bad?

So...The sending units are that unreliable?? My replacement new one didn't solve it either so I GUESS I have 2 issues? The sender and the stepper? So. Another sender unit is likely my solution? Oh..and one more thing...threads on my SMP replacement were longer than the one in there so didn't...

My oil pressure gauge is pegged...is that bad?

I need help on this oil gauge issue... Previous -- Pressure read zero with key on, engine off. -- Pressure stuck 40 range with engine running and stays there when turned off. -- Needle jerky, never smooth. Then... -- New Standard Motor Prod sensor yielded same results as above. Now... --...

Thanks. Hard to believe that with literally tons of this stuff on the internet it would be so obscure. Probably have to make some calls if nobody has an other info to help on this.

About to replace Inner and Outer Tie Rod Ends - Any Suggestions to make it easier?

So which threads are LH and the inner rod? Which end of it? Is this on certain years? Manual, haynes, doesn't mention it....hmmmm....

    Tie rod ends

Looking at my inner tie rod it looks simple, even though I haven't done rods before. My haynes manual is misleading, though....says the inner rod is part of a relay rod and is not replaceable. This is on page 10-17. WHAT???? The parts are clearly listed online and you guys say they are easy...

    pn# source...door bottom weatherstripping

Looking for the weather stripping that attaches onto the plastic trim that sits on the rocker panel. When the doors close, this "piece of interest" seals at the bottom of them against the rocker panel. It's rubber that is curled into a circular cross section. Looked hi and lo and for some...

    Buying Help

Without taking a lot of time to review how to say this, you provided way too much info and didn't get to the point of your post so that we all can help one another quickly. It appears you have some concerns and yet haven't done much research on them. Also, in my mind, when somebody has a 2006...
