    Fuel filter feed line

Can’t get a pic at the moment. It is steel. Sit is a short steel line that goes from the fuel supply line to the fuel filter. It connects to the filter and to the fuel supply line from the fuel pump sending unit.

    Fuel filter feed line

I can do a union but the issue is that the fuel line goes bends just before the end and I am not sure I can make the bend. Also, the line going into the filter has an o-ring seal on the end. Can you get flared male ends with o-rings?

    Fuel filter feed line

Hey all, So when changing my fuel filter on flex fuel system the fuel line on the feed side snapped when I was unscrewing it from filter. I’ve been looking for a replacement hose but cannot find a part number. It is the line which goes from the front of tank to the filter - any one k ow a part...

Hey all, Basically when I removed the inner fender wall most of the plastic push retainer rivet things that hold it one broke. I cannot find any information on the size and type of these - can anyone help me out?

    Dreaded P0300 possibly solved

Ok, so I finally got the vcx nano scanner up and running with the tech2. I ran the crank shaft sensor relearn procedure and no more misfires being reported and no more p0300.

    Dreaded P0300 possibly solved

Hey thanks for the reply. The o2s appear to be working fine. The voltage on the upstream sensors bounces around as it should...the downstream sensors bounce around a bit but not nearly as much as the upstream. I don’t think it is an o2 sensor issue. I just drove 1000miles and the truck ran...

    Hurts Taking One Like This

I would say that by the sound of your age and condition dropping the transmission is probably beyond your abilities. it is doable in a driveway though - I know I did it last December. Nothing terribly difficult about it but the top bell house nuts can be a pain until you figure out how to get...

    Dreaded P0300 possibly solved

I would jump all over that scanner but its the same problem I have with the VCX Nane: to get it in Canada I will have to wait quite a while. Question: if it is just a matter of a crank relearn is the P0300 basically reporting phantom misfires? I ask because, as others have said on this, there...

    Dreaded P0300 possibly solved

I am trying to get my hands on a vcx nano so I can do crank relearn and misfire count. Unfortunately I’m in Canada and things just are not as easy to get here. Will take a couple of weeks from when I order to get it. Unless you know of a scanner that can do those things which isn’t ridiculously...

    Dreaded P0300 possibly solved

So I took her out, warmed her up and unplugged the MAF. Feel wise the truck ran exactly the same, fuel trim wise it did not. fuel trims at idle were normal but now, when accelerating, the LTFT stayed around -5 and the stft jumped to -10 and even -17. With the MAF connected the LTFT would go +7...

    Dreaded P0300 possibly solved

New plug and wires about 6000 miles ago. Plugs are Bosch 8104 double platinum and the wires are the premium NGK set. I inspected the plugs a while after I installed them and they all looked fine with good gap. So basically, only ignition components left would be t

    Dreaded P0300 possibly solved

So, not fixed. Today I got the P0300 again. So, reattaching the PCV brought the LTFT from +10 into the negative, about -4 on average. But, when accelerating, the trims go to about +7 and when cruising at 75mph the LTFT sits about +11 on both banks. Also, when I hit about 2500rpm in any gear the...

    Dreaded P0300 possibly solved

thanks for replies. I’m gonna be taking the old girl on a 2000 mile journey in a few weeks...will see if cel still pops on. normally I would be worried about flashing cel and code but there are absolutely no drive ability problems when it happens, and o2s and trims are not horrible.

    Dreaded P0300 possibly solved

Hey all, so my 03 z71 hoebag has been acting up a bit lately. Other than a slightly rough idle there have been no drive ability issues. However, at certain, seemingly random times while on the highway the CEL will sometimes flash for a bit and sometimes I will get the P0300 code. I noticed that...

    Chasing a P0300

I have a similar problem on my 03’ Hoe. at highway speeds I will get a flashing cel that goes and comes back. Often times no there is not DTC code...when there is I get a P0300 and that is it. I do not have a scanner that can detect which cylinder is misfiring unfortunately. I’ve noticed an...

Wire pulled out of neutral safety switch - how to put it back.

Ok, so I found a replacement connector locally, which is super surprising because its Canada, for $37. So I will just replace the whole clip. Not going to solder it though because I do not feel like soldering a connect above my head while lying on the ground. I will grab some crimp butt connects...

Wire pulled out of neutral safety switch - how to put it back.

I wouldn’t buy a crimping tool. I would just solder the terminal on and jam it in the connector. Not worried if it’s perfect just so long as it works. I didn’t destroy the clip in the way others do...I heated amit and removed it quite easily. It was just that as I removed it the green wire...

Wire pulled out of neutral safety switch - how to put it back.

Can’t get actual pic of it right now...this is an aftermarket replacement. The pin that pulled out was on the row with 4-pins and was the first on the left when thr connector is orientated with 4 pins on top and 3 on bottom. It is one of the smaller terminals.

Wire pulled out of neutral safety switch - how to put it back.

Ya, I know, but after shipping and everything I’m looking at $60 to fix 1 wire. If it was $10-20 then fine, but for $60 I will just fix the wire.

Wire pulled out of neutral safety switch - how to put it back.

Hey all, So the green wire from the neutral safety switch came out of its connector. The terminal is gone as is the rubber gasket that prevents water from getting into the connector. I've never played with wire connectors like this. Where would I get the terminal/which terminal do I need, and...

    (Solved)No turn signals...hazards work fine.

Thanks all...turns out it was the hazard flasher module. Popped new one in and all was good.

Those are already checked. The trucks Right turn signal side body marker and the left turn signal side body marker are both fine.

    (Solved)No turn signals...hazards work fine.

hey all, So went out today and had no turn signals, not even a click from the flash module. The 4-way hazard light work perfectly. So removed the flasher module and tested the turn signal wires...at the module. I got .110 colts on both. Is this normal? I would expect the. Outage to be at...

2003 Tahoe..No crank: neutral safety switch test and adjustment

Well first off, calm down. Second, I’d seen that video before and all had asked was for verification if I had it right. Third...things get done when they do. As for the switch, I removed the big connector and tried in every position to get it to crank. No dice. Then. I noticed that the green...

2003 Tahoe..No crank: neutral safety switch test and adjustment

It's an 03 Tahoe Z71 5.3 4x4. Yes it is a new switch, not it is not AC delco. Got what I could get locally. The gear shift indicator works fine, other than there is sometimes a delay between when I go between R and P. It won't crank in any gear at all. I can get it to crank and run by jumping...
