Turns out this was the line for the rear washer fluid. I got tired of the engine light, remote start not working and the occasional failure to start without pumping the gas and took it to the shop. According to the ticket, they replaced the evap canister, vent, and purge valve. Light is off...- cspinelive

Same exact thing happening to me right now on my 2007 GMC Yukon XL 2WD. Check engine light is on. Codes say evap something or other. I have a thin tube hanging under the rear of my vehicle near the fuel fill neck. Looks like it goes back towards the front of the vehicle via the center...- cspinelive
