    Shudder at light throttle

I'm going to try lubeguard instant shudder fix and see if that helps....I hope that stuff won't harm anything in the transmission.

    Shudder at light throttle

One interesting note here, though I check the transmission fluid, and although it seems brand new and not burnt, it is way over filled. The cold Mark is below the hot Mark, and when I check it cold, it's about 2in above the hot Mark..... Could this be part of the shudder at low RPM? I bought it...

    Shudder at light throttle

I bought the 2011 Tahoe 5.3 2 months ago. Checked the fluid and even had a reputable big time transmission shop here in Portland Oregon look at the transmission fluid. They said it looks fresh. I also found out through a car fax type of vin search that the transmission fluid was just changed a...

    Shudder at light throttle

Yes.....twice. the 1st time I was too careful, as in just the outside part, second time, I cleaned it to sparkling, brand new looking condition. I also cleaned MAF sensor 2 twice. I was trying to clean the idle air control, but sounds crazy, I can't find it. I'm not a mechanic, but I can do...

    Shudder at light throttle

Can anyone tell me what shudder I have under very light throttle usually on any gear EXCEPT 1st and 2nd gear with about 1100 rpm to 1500 rpm..... Doesn't happen when I start driving when Tahoe is cold and not up to operating temperature. WOT there is no shudder at all. I have a 2011 Tahoe 5.3 V8...

Jet throttle body or Hypertech max energy?

Well I did enclose the rectangle opening and It did feel a bit better acceleration wise with the rectangle cutout that I did when I start out in the cool mornings of Portland, Oregon compared to starting out with the box fully enclosed. My feeling is winter driving with a cutout like I did would...

Jet throttle body or Hypertech max energy?

Ok, I'll enclose the box with the insulation-dense foam tape that is used to wrap my air ducts in my house, and see....btw, do you think that AEM dryflo filter is hurting performance or it doesn't make a difference?

Jet throttle body or Hypertech max energy?

The rectangle cut out is facing the back of the passenger side lamp. It has to catch some outside air though any small gaps from fender and headlight and hood....anyway, I do feel a bit better throttle response...because I just don't get how the stock location could feed any air from the side...

Jet throttle body or Hypertech max energy?

All I have in my 2011 5.3 Tahoe is an AEM dry flow with a modified airbox (a hole cut facing the front and I insulated it to keep heat out). What would you suggest next a jet throttle body or a Hypertech Max 2.0 please no suggestions of a bb tune please....just between the jet throttle...

    Cheap headers?

Has anyone heard of theses headers? Or know someone that has these headers on their ride? http://www.protuninglab.com/hds-gy99-a.html#_ga=2.260491656.466208897.1507117003-1877232931.1507116222

2017 Tahoe Premier vs Yukon Denali---which would you buy and why?

I was in the market for an SUV for the family (wife and 2 kids) having come from a junker 1990 Nissan Pathfinder. I used to own a 2004 Tahoe Z71 11 years ago so always had a Tahoe in mind. I loved that ride. Now I'm back to home ownership and the ability to buy a nice SUV for the family after...
