I don’t suppose @ScottyBoy is still selling harnesses? That’s where I bought mine.Hit the Upull and grab what you need!
Forgive me if this was already covered in here. Skimmed a couple times but not sure I caught everything. Two questions:
Q1 aftermarket junction block: I think the intention in this post was to swap in factory wiring. I don't want to do that. My plan is to use an aftermarket junction block. I have a handful of things to wire up aside from this. Curious if anybody has experience with a good aftermarket junction block they would recommend? Something with provisions for say a dozen or so items (air compressor, off road lights, etc. etc. etc.) and is weather sealed for under the hood?
Q2 Fan shroud: I've not looked to closely as the fan setup recently. I don't know if the fans have a provision to hold the upper radiator hose? Currently that's done by my mechanic fan shroud. Otherwise, do I need a different shroud to set on top of the fans to hold that hose?

Awesome, glad to see you’re still here and still doing that. I’ve been away for awhile dealing with health issues but I’ve been back lurking around lately. @Matthew Jeschke I highly suggest using a factory harness and fuse/relay block for the fans and then if you need something for additional blocks later, you could always make your own or buy aftermarket for that part. The fans are a critical part of the truck when you’re in hot summer days and a long way from home like I was. No fans can leave you stranded.Yeah, I still sell them. I currently have some for sale right now.
OEM GMT800/NBS Electric Fan Harnesses For Sale
I currently have a few Cooling Fan harnesses available for sale. For anyone who doesn't already know, I pull these fan harnesses from junk vehicles and "refurbish" them as a standalone harness. By the time I'm done with it, it pretty much looks like a brand new fan harness. I completely clean...www.tahoeyukonforum.com
There’s only one version AFAIK. ScottyBoy would be the expert, he’s seen and sold dozens of the harnesses.Yeah no fans are a bad thing. Do they have a factory version that takes the blade fuses instead of the box style?

It mounts to the 05-96 fuse box. It's a different design then yours.Where does the fan junction box mount? Does anybody have a photo of that?
I'll have to order one when I hear back from @ScottyBoy
Nit sure what Tony means by a different design. There’s a place on all the NBS fuse boxes where the fan relay/ fuse box slides on and clicks into place. There’s little protrusions on one and grooves in the other. If yours doesn’t have those you can screw or rivet it in place. I just went out and took this pic on my 02. It’s a clean, factory look. Mine slid in place. It’s the triangle under the fender mount. And you don’t need to worry about replacing fuses. They don’t blow. Aftermarket is another thing- those will. The top pops off for access.Where does the fan junction box mount? Does anybody have a photo of that?
