Changed headlights to leds, and also finally fixed my ground for my heated steering wheel. Once pay day comes time to get that backup camera installed.
Clip the green connector off, brown wire goes to 12 volts, black ground. If you have a Yukon you should have the heated steering wheel plug port down in the upfitter box.
I was wondering if you could take these window switches apart and swap parts. Main reason I ask is the guy had these marked as denali window switches went and tried them and found the auto up of escalades any help.
But if you have the same code here are some things to check. Check to see how tight the plug is. loosen it and tighten it back down check the wire. That's what solved my issue.
I want to add the denali mirrors to my slt and wonder how to program tds says to contact customer service but I really don't want to do that since it wouldn't be a factory mirror
Pretty easy pop the back pocket thingy off, then there's little plastic tabs that hold it down unclip all those. I would disconnect the battery cause you will have to unclip the side impact airbag, but I unclipped (with battery connected) and it and it was safe. Then just move the cover up...
Change the seat cushion, and cover out I took my seats apart and really not difficult. Just make sure you either grab the heated seat pad, or buy a new one. Also check to see if all the latches are in place?
Yeah, no. Without them you get a b00012 or 13 code I just went out and checked to see if one of my codes where cleared this ignition cycle, Yup. So now I only have one, and I'm willing to bet a get the other clip it will disappear. Read about it in adding a heated steering wheel if you want...
Also tried to make my airbag code go away and to no luck got one of the plastic clips in but the other. (Nowhere to be found) yup lost it when I took out the bag. Looking for a replacement now.
I need a airbag clip. You know the little plastic tabs that go into the clockspring to fix my airbag light. I thought I still had but got lost anyone that got a spare or anyway around this.
Truthfully what looks clean doesn't mean it actually is. I had my hubs redone on my 2011 about 3 months ago and they were so rusty I had to take the red wrench to them. Plus of its got a salvage title it either means big wreck or something else.
I'm not sure about your year but on mine when I got a flat and got patched. I just drove it down the block, and it figured itself out. But you probably need the tool.
