    I bought it in August. It already has some surface rust, floors are great. Just some scale here and there. Trying to prevent as much as I can.

    I use fluidfilm. Have a friend with a lift at his house, so it’s easy. I also spray the door/fender/hood area, take out the taillights, and spray all that down as well. Remove the plastic door sills, and spray inside the holes. Lower inner fenders hit. Too, just have to move that material...

    Depo housings installed.

    Installed the depo headlight housings. Still need to adjust them, but it’s pouring out, so that will have to wait. I used the generic leds I had in the factory housings, May change them to a hid kit I have.

    Looking at buying new take off rims and tires for my ‘05 Tahoe. They come ready to Bolton, including lug nuts. These would be from a 2018. Would the 2018, TPMSsensors work? Or would I have to install sensors for an ‘05? Or maybe programs something?

    Every daily driver I’ve ever owned, has always had a dedicated snow tire, mounted on it’s own set of wheels. I just switch summer/winter wheels and tires for the seasons.

    Unless your pan has a drain plug, you have to remove it to change the fluid. Pretty silly not to change the filter while it’s off. Just did my ‘05, 136,xxx miles. Used dex 6 and a bottle of Lucas.

    factory fender flare rivets, what sizes?

    Does anyone know what sizes the factory black rivets that hold the factory fender flares on are? Broke some installing weathertech " no drill" mudflaps. Looked on ebay to buy some, but they have kits with many different mixed sizes, which would be fine, if i knew the sizes i needed. Internet...

    What exactly, do the vent caps, vent?

    What’s the purpose of the vent caps? Took mine off and cleaned all the crude out. What are they venting, and would putting smooth caps on, prevent them from doing their intended job?
