that's ludicrous
I paid $41k for my 2017 1yr old. And I paid $43k for my 2015 Tahoe brand spanking new
I do want to play with the 6.2...but I can buy 3-4 toy cars for the cost difference. Insane price gouging. Sadly Ford does the same thing. the Expy Max (or whatever it's called now) is a...
The issue is not use or disuse. The issue is a poor design by GM
The elbow vibrates and causes a leak. GM issued a support for it to prevent undue stress and vibration
For a weekend warrior tow a few times a year I’d keep the Denali. It will be more than adequate for the task
Unless you just want a truck and this is a good way to convince the wife. Lol
The do make a 2500 Suburban/Yukon. Best of both worlds
Best of luck with that. $1 in materials and 5 minutes to fix
Or drop off and hope Dealership monkeys don’t mess up the interior. The new piece requires partial seat rear down
YMMV
I did that in June of 2014 after buying my 2015 Tahoe in May 2014.
GM didn't offer a fix until sometime in 2016. There is an official fix. But I can tell you that my seat remained "fixed" for 4yrs and 40k miles with the rubber hose and clamp fix
will not work. there is a TSB for this and GM offerred an extended warranty up to 60k miles.
the AC condenser and elbow pipe rupture on 2015 models. You have a leak. Replace that, then add freon.
I initially drew a vacuum and re-added freon to my old 2015 Tahoe when it happened to me. It...
how does the denali squat with the trailer attached and loaded?
I know the WDH is there. But even then you will have upwards of 800-1000 lbs on the tongue for a fully loaded out rig at times. I'd rather have almost no squat with properly setup WDH.
I just installed airbags in my '17...
2 questions
1. part number for those tail guards?
2. How did you get those foglights to fit? 2013 Silverado lights work (same part #), but I haven't seen those yet
put LED bulbs in there. They are about $45. Look for 6,000 or higher lumens PER BULB! Chevy uses a H11 low beam bulb. Check your owners manual for the GMC.
My 2015 and 2017 factory bulbs were adequate. The LED bulbs are amazing. And since the factory headlamps have a built in cutoff, you...
I fixed the problem. But don’t know how I fixed it.
I rewired my head lights to operate like LTZ headlights. ( see my post above)
Then re-installed the LED bulbs. They’ve been operating flawlessly. I love the light output. Time will tell, but so far they’re a good product.
I'd buy another '15 without any reservations. The absolute biggest issue they have is the AC Condenser leak
GM fixed all the other issues under warranty / recalls. Most of them were radio programming. I think 5 different recalls were for it alone lol.
With tuning they see gains. Just slapping a CAI on there won’t net gains.
You have to tell the PCM to use the extra air flow.
There is an interesting post in this forum discussing how Chevy uses air intake to control transmission operation.
I've had them installed since May 2014 on a Tahoe and a Suburban. About 60,000 miles between the 2 rigs.
I've never heard noise from them. And they're pretty robust. Here is where I drove from LA to Connecticut going 75+ mph. Held up fine. I will buy these before anything aftermarket.
honestly just buy a tuner and get a decent custom tune. Black Bear Tuning is the preferred for the 2015+ crowd. There is no need to get a TB or CAI. Tuning alone will make the rig a night and day difference...on trans tuning only. Go for a hotter tune and you will be quite surprised at it
a...
Another unrealized consequence of doing this. This is essentially the 6 light mods for the 2015+ models.
When the high beams are turned on, the low beams and fog lights remain powered
FYI for those who get inspected and/or worry about such things.
very nice and slick. I couldn't find connectors. Would have built something very similar if I had. I prefer your way.
Good catch. I didn't realize that the Z75 (Cadillac) was the only harness with position #6 being physically larger. I was reading that wrong.
Looks like when the upgraded...
Yes. ONSTAR decided to remove all users unless they pay $15/month. You now get 1 month free when buying used. New varies based on brand
Only a few users got to keep it.
The Tahoe/Suburban LED strip is on a fuse. Here is the wiring diagram for your Yukon. Looks like that may be a relay instead.
Do you have a test light or a multi-meter? I personally would see if the LED strip is getting power. That way you can isolate if the light is bad or if there is a...
