My drop was originally a 2" up front and 3" in back which leveled it nicely however I ended up putting 1" spacer in back for bit more clearance and practicality. Rides wonderful on the 24"'s and no rubbing. I have weathertec mud flaps and only had to cut small amount off inside of them so...
Here is my 2013 LT with 2" drop both front and back with 24" wheels. Did the OEM struts with 2" drop spindles in front to keep alignment stock. 2" drop coils in back. Runs great both on highways and city streets but I also only have little under 13k miles on truck.
I got the whole kit including sway bars, street performance shocks and struts, etc but either way Tony can get you hooked up for reasonable pricing and his customer service and support is amazing.
Got ahold of Tony and he called me back right away. He is gonna get in touch with Belltech. Hope to have resolved soon and with his support I am certain I won't have any issues. Looks like hairline crack bottom of shock along weld.
Anyone familiar or have happen where rear Belltech Shock is leaking at bottom?
Bought kit from Tony earlier this year and the one rear shock is leaking at bottom where it attaches to the shock extender. It is not leaking from the bolt harness (plus there is no zerk fitting) but leaking around...
Good to know Az......I haven't done any road trips and live up north but still useful information.
Only run the truck in summer months but hopefully they will last longer than few years.
I have Lexani LX Thirty 295-35/24 and they run real nice and around $160.00 per tire.
Had same with 305's but I was rubbing pretty good with a 2" Front drop and only rubbing minimally with 3" rear drop.
No rubbing now with the 295's.
Sway are I bought from you for 2013 Tahoe didn't have any relocation brackets. Is this something I need to do or not required. If required what do I need to do or modify?
All,
Looking for input on above. 2013 Tahoe LT
I got the 4" 5305 Belltech drop coils with same Belltech SP shocks but I have a 2" spacer currently for a 2" rear lift and back end is bit bumpy. I don't want to lower any more than it currently is as I need rear travel. Mind you have I have...
It's a 2/3 drop but I ended up lifting back up another inch with 2" spacer. The 2/3 kit from Tony comes with the 3 or 4" drop coil for the rear. Adding a 1" spacer gave it a 3" drop and it was level however I only had about 1/2" between the Belltech bumpstops (I didn't want to do the free...
More pics to follow once I get new tires! Thanks again everyone for all the help and special shout out to Tony for his awesome service and patience with me and all my newbie questions!
Hi Guys,
Just wanted to show few pics of the progress of me 2013 Tahoe without Autoride on 24" KMC Slides.
Got the 2/3-4 Belltech Lowering / Cornering kit complete.
Just waiting on the 295-35-24 tires to come in. Not rubbing much on the 305's but figured I would go with the 295's to be safe...
