replace worn out Shocks with OEM ones that are a match to your vin/build code in the glove box.
While I change my oem to Bilstein 5100's, and people here will tell you that stock are junk and better change to aftermarket, safest and easiest thing to do to get back to as good as new ride is just...
I am thinking about putting summer tires, such as General Grabber UHP 305/45r22 on our Suburban.
Right now we have stock OEM, Premier trim level 22" wheels on 285/45r22.
I am pretty sure this would rub, albeit slightly.
What do you guys think about putting a 1" Bora Spacers would solve the...

I have read some fo these reviews, not sure if the rs5000x will help achieve what you are trying to do based on limited feedback I have read

This is good info. I currently have 285/45r22 all terrain Dualers. I am going to get General Grabber UHP in 305/45r22 next. from the sound of your experience, sounds like just minor trimming will be needed for me not to have any rubbing.
good deal!
I wonder how these 305 "summer" tires are going...
yep, Between PPV airdam, front levelled about 1-3/4", and maybe one size taller tires, the clearance will be night and day.
if your tahoe is fairly low miles I would even just get spacers for the front to level it along with a alignement and call it a day.
I have myself Bilstein 5100 all the way...
I would like to also point out that EV longetivity depend highly on OEM support and if the particular E.V was only a compliance car or actually a company wide effort.
I have own only compliance EVs like the fiat 500e and the Ford focus EV, and I can tell you there is zero support from the OEM...
What I use here in AZ to jump on the HOV lane, pay almost no registration:
Ford focus EV, bought cheap depreciated with warranty for my single rider commute (75 miles)
2015 Suburban for our family for daily errands and family trips.
best of both worlds.
EVs are highly situational.
it all...

Hunter991,
You don't have to fall out of love with a vehicle to get a new one.
The cheapest options most of the time is always to keep what you have and not get an extended warranty, just take the chance and keep money set aside for repairs.
This is the sort of car buying advice...
Norcal SS sold me some Belltech to lower the rear of my suburban and it sat slightly lower in the back than front, what are your measurements front and back, and what model number of springs did you get?
thanks!
Thank you everyone for the replies.
I would indeed look for a low mileage, under 50k miles, 13 or 14, Escalade with the 20" wheels, maintenance records and southern state.
Silver as a preferred color.
Maybe even fold down DVD for the kiddos.
Plus When I rented one I remember how good they...
Hello 07-14 Subforum!
We have a 15 Suburban and loving it since we got it in 16
I really like the 13-14 Escalade , especially with the body color grill and rear dual exhaust.
I can see now these have gone down in price, under 100k miles can be found for under 25k$
Any recommendations, or things...
I have not seen much Nitrous talk around the 5.3 ecotec 3 at least on this forum. I know it might not be enough, but maybe a custom tune with some E85 for 35/40 horses?

If you would indulge me with the above reference, I would like to explain why this Muffler has finally...
I am too very interested in softening things up, I too have bilsteins 5100 front and back, fronts are on the highest
riding on 285/45r22
wondering what would help.
(apart from going to 265/65r18)
I got my mechanic to do mine today while he was doing an oil change.
If only I had time to do these things!
Anyway I figured it wouldnt hurt to just go ahead and get them done at 88k miles
