- Replaced engine oil and filter
- Added Fumoto valve
- Added Rislone

Update. Got the temp up and it was still low. So filled it. Took about 1 quarts to get it back into the hot line. Will check again tomorrow after some driving. Thanks all!
Hey everyone. A new to me Yukon, but I checked the transmission fluid today because..well I was curious.
This was while cold, haven’t driven in 24 hours and it seems like it’s way over filled. How do I proceed? Truck has 190k on it. Build thread here...
Updates from yesterday:
- Replaced upper and lower radiator hoses. Cleaned up the throttle body while I was there.
- Did a coolant flush with distilled water, the coolant that was in the truck looked alight, I assume the previous owner had it changed within the last 50k miles. The flush did...
Yes! I’ve heard this elsewhere as well and on this thread. I want to go that route but had the pulley already in hand and it was simple to swap over. I will plan on this.
I had finished up the front brakes yesterday. Nothing too crazy today, just swapping out the AC tension pully and the two drive belts.
I started to track everything I was doing along with costs and parts. Feel free to browse here, it's a public page now...
Working on the front brakes. First one is done. I had to drill out the rusted rotor screw. Couldn’t get it out even with the hammer punch and ultimately ended up stripping it.
New rotors didn’t have new screws. So my question is, best place to get new ones? And is it drivable without them?
Alright. First round up updates. I was waiting on the last of the parts. RockAuto decided to send me rear rotors with the front pads..and front rotors with the rear pads :rolleyes:

- Replaced parking brake shoes.
- Replaced rear brake rotors, pads, and hardware.
- Bled the calipers...
No leak on the axle seals from what I can tell. What you are seeing in that picture is me going a bit too crazy with the liquid wrench. That rotor was rusted on good and took a few whacks to get it off.
I marked the adjustment before I took it off, then backed it off once put back on to account for the new pad height. This allowed the new rotor to go on super smooth. Once I get everything together I will ensure that the parking brake works and also make sure there isn’t any engagement while...
Alright I will look into those. I am replacing rear brakes now and boy did it need them. I’m finding that it’s Drum system? Rock auto sold the rotors and pads but I hadn’t seen the drum parts. I removed the rotor but now I am seeing this drum system. Do these components need replaced?
