I had to replace the exterior handle one year and the latch another. Super easy to replace both(if that’s what it is!). Good 1AAuto videos on replacing it.

I heard a loooong time ago to keep it in drive (or reverse) with brake compressed and set the parking brake. And then switch to park. Been doing it like this for 20+ years without thinking about it. Have I been doing it wrong this entire time?! Please explain!

Reminds me of my cousin when he removed and took apart most of his engine when he was 16 only realizing he didn’t remember how it went back together. His parents had to call and have it towed to an engine shop. :yaoface2:
