    I bought from Flemington gmc in NJ, I’m in MA. GM allows supplier on Yukon’s and Tahoe’s but upto the dealership to accept it or not. Expand your search radius and call them all till you find one who agrees for supplier. It’s an easy 5k off on MSRP.

    GM has apparently tightened the rules around supplier pricing. Dealer I bought my Denali from, 250 mi away, agreed for supplier but strictly went by the book. Since it was from my wife’s employer, besides employment proof like badge, they required the sale, loan, all paperwork on my wife’s name.

    That adds up to the theory of its being limited to certain batch of bad lifters. If it was something more fundamental like a flawed design/engineering, we would see far more failures. We should open a poll thread, let’s see % wise how bad it is. I’ll be surprised if it’s in double digits.

    I swap shoes on my Rubicon summer/winter, the best tool is the stock jack. Lift one, swap it, move to next. About torque wrench, try to get one that has 140ft-lbs in the middle of its range. Any top brands are good.

    The GMC OEM ones are not compatible with power running boards, weather tech's mud flaps are. Check this thread.
