So I picked up my 2013 Yukon XL Denali with 197k and it’s definitely been a project vehicle. I’ve had it for about 2 months now and put 3k miles on it
When I first test drove it, I thought things felt a little sloppy but got used to it. I was replacing the oil cooler lines and noticed both...
So I was laying on top of my engine fixing the dreaded exhaust manifold bolt issues and my elbow slipped only to get caught by a heater hose and I broke the connector. Pretty upset but it happens
What’s the best fix for this? Is it to buy a new coolant hose or is there something else?
I’ve posted something similar in the intro page, but I figured it may be better suited in this side of the forum where I’ll be spending most of my time.
I’ve been lurking around here for the past couple weeks so I figured I should do some in depth info about the Yukon. Here’s the Yukon...
I’ve been lurking around here for the past couple weeks so I figured I should do a formal intro. My name is Josh. Here’s the Yukon:
2013 Yukon XL Denali AWD with the 6.2. Metallic black paint. I picked it up in January with 197k miles for 4k (which I feel like was a pretty solid deal) but oh...
There are some exhaust manifold bolts on my 6.2 that fell out or the head of the bolt fell off. To fix the ones that the heads fell off, I would need to take the manifold off so while I'm there replace the manifold gasket. Is this a bad idea? I don't know if I want to touch any bolts that aren't...
Title says it all

2013 Yukon Denali 6.2 199k. AFM not deleted. Intermittent tick. 15psi hot idle and maybe 22psi cruising at 1800psi. Fresh full synthetic 5w30 oil changed about 800 miles ago.
Yukon is new to me, I bought it at about 197k. Last owner said that they replaced the lifters at about 190k but who...
2013 Yukon 6.2. I am having some headlight flickering issues along with a battery light that seldom appears only when at a stoplight and will go away with higher RPMs.
Did some multimeter test on the alternator/battery and everything seems to checks out. Before I throw the parts cannon at it...
2013 Yukon 6.2L 199k miles. Recently new to me - installed a new oil pressure switch and changed the oil
I have noticed low(er) oil pressures - maybe within spec but would prefer to be higher. About 15psi idle and 25 crusing hot. I installed a Fram Ultimate filter and have seen that sometimes...
Newish to me 2013 Yukon XL Denali with the 6.2. 199k miles. Got it cheap because was neglected and needed lots of love
Oil pressure sending unit was stuck and tripped a CEL and was replaced around 500 miles ago along with fresh full synthetic oil
I’ve been chasing a slight tick in the engine...
