    So i also had issues with 800 customer service who don’t even work for GM,it’s a call center they get paid to give out baloney. Tell them at the start of the call that you are recording the call for future reference. Get the district manager for your area involved in your issue.

    Thank u for your reply and after reading what you went through I realize that things could be worse on my end. The process that GM has for known engine failure is a joke,I know they can do better than that.I was part of GM salary for over 40 years and Im ashamed of the way they handle engine...

    Totally agree with your view, but do not understand why there is no start and stop point. They only put out a bulletin to the dealers and kept loading the engine to the body and move down the line. Then the buyer is the final inspector that catches the issue when the engine goes south. ….. Now...

    All oil changes at the dealership were on time with recommended oil and filter. I also checked the oil every other week.
