2014 Tahoe 179,000 miles… I was on the way to work and I was smelling what smelled like dirt coming from vents like dirty dusty air. I did a pull on the highway to pass someone and after that the AC was on for some reason and All air quit blowing in the front nothing was working. The rear air is...
ill keep a closer eye next timee, thanks for that info
im sure its fine... not over heating maybe i did have the air on low bc sometimes air will blow out of the foot well vents even when the system is off. so to stop this, when its warm out i will turn the ac on quick and drop it down to 60...
What are you guys say the engine fans being on in 51° weather after almost an hour of driving of stop indoor traffic is normal? I thought they don’t kick on till like 220 or 230?
How does that work if it never goes past 210? Other factors at play that determine when they come on?
Pretty sure I heard them running while I was sitting idling. And it’s cold out. Than again the engine is pretty loud hence the name vortec. Sounds like a damn vortex lol.
Ps nothing wrong...
Ehhhh I think maybe it’s just bc I changed the radiator. Probably over thinking… it only drops a needle width below 210 maybe when it idles.
My old one was clogged I think.
Looks like the old one was clogged bad in the middle with dirt. Could be wrong
Coolant level is fine. I guess I’m not too concerned about the temperature… Just more holding the temperature, seems like it’s taking a little longer to warm up, and seems like sitting and idling. It will start to cool down again.
I just feel like it used to warm up quicker
