Thanks, that is what I figured. Did you do the wrap yourself or have a shop do it? If the latter, how much did it run? Thinking about doing the same myself in the spring.
I bought all black badges to replace on my '23 Denali. After seeing a '25 in person I kind of like the large Denali badging on the rear instead of the GMC. Although, I'm not sure if I like it because the new Denali removed the big chrome trim piece that is present on the older models. IMO the...
First off, hope you stay safe with the storm coming through. On the install, do you anticipate removing the whole bumper (ie to replace other chrome pieces?) or do you expect to replace the grill with the bumper still installed? I am planning to do the former in the near future (lower trim piece...
You probably didn't even need to replace the receptacle and saved another $30, probably just a corrupted SD. Some of these repairs are highway robbery when it comes to the simple stuff and like it was said above, throw a crazy price at people and see if they take it.
Thanks for the info, like the window tint, I'll roll the dice for a fix it ticket if someone decides to pull me over. Honestly, the white LEDs on the aftermarket one make me MORE noticeable for other vehicles.
I swapped them out for smoke with white LED, adds a nice touch. The driver side had a few LEDs go out after a few weeks but had a replacement sent to me. The swap is a direct plug and play, took about 10 min.
I wonder if anyone makes an upgraded module for this. The stock one, which I assume this is, just doesn't perform well in my opinion. I recently installed the Boost Auto one for the arm rest pocket and it is leagues better in terms of charge speed.
All of my previous vehicles that had plate brackets installed I replaced with color matching bumper plugs for the holes. Unless you plan to spend a lot and have body work done to fill the holes, that is your best bet. The holes are already there if they are riveted in.
Welcome! I received my Diesel Denali XL in October. So far I have added all Husky X-act Contour floor mats including cargo, I prefer them so much more than weathertech (less "plastic-y"). I also used my GMC points to swap out the puddle lights to the GMC ones and did the side marker LED...
I did 20% non-ceramic all around (minus windshield). Personally it hits my preference spot on, I do the same to all of my vehicles over the past 20 years and haven't had any issues with "fix-it tickets". The rears will always be darker since they come factory tinted, usually to about 20%. Mine...
Here is the Mirror connector pinout for Yukons on the 2022, should be the same for the 21 and 23. Pin 2 (Violet) should be your ignition wire at 12V and pin 5 (Black) should be your ground. You would need to step down the 12V from the vehicle to 5V 1A (dashcams are basically glorified webcams)...
Who have you contacted so far? For all things aftermarket automotive I would say KC Trends is a good starting point, but I expect they will be a bit higher in cost given their clientele. As a fellow KC'er (OP more specifically) keep the thread updated with what path you go forward with. As an...
Seems like the chat advisors are hell bent on not providing event codes anymore. They seem to be regurgitating the same thing the bot provides along with an explanation that providing codes doesn't provide value to the customer and can cause confusion. Regardless, my order was produced on 9/13...
Hopefully not but I'm not too optimistic. My XL Denali had a TPW of this week, 9/11, so hopefully it gets out of the door before anything goes down, but we shall see. Does anyone know if the transportation side (factory to dealer) falls under the same union force? Watching this site closely...
Is it a pretty solid guarantee that larger dealers get prioritized for orders over smaller dealers? Curious what everyone's experience has been in that regard. I placed an order with a dealer in my smaller home town but live in a large city, curious if that will further delay the process.
What are people seeing for Duramax availability? I'm planning to order a '23 Yukon XL with DM and the dealer is saying its almost impossible to get one, thinking about 12mo. out...
