    Happy camper My Tahoe has stopped over heating...I changed (in order) thermostat, waterpump, anti-freeze, pressure cap, clutch fan, radiator. And the winner is... top 7 rows of radiator bottom 7 rows of radiator dam thing was plugged up bad, and I had flushed it at 95,000...

    1997 Tahoe heating up

    I have a stock 1997 Tahoe and she has started to run a little hot. I have checked fluids, cap, hoses and all is good. When going down the highway with the a/c on it just keeps going up and you turn the a/c off but it is slow to cool down. I am thinking it maybe the radiator. Any other ideas? Andy

    Replacing orifice tube I found where the orifice tube is and I got the old one out, difficult, now I can't get the new one in. On this model is it made in the condenser and not replacable? Andy

    Flush I am about to finish this A/C project. I don't think the compressor "came apart" and the lines look clean not black or gunky. Do I still need to do a flush out? Andy

    Orifice tube I do not have rear air. I didn't find it in the line to the evaporator connection at the firewall. Is inline at the condensor behind the grill? Andy

    Fuel pump question

    I have a 97 Tahoe and I am about to do the fuel injection upgrade and I am also going to put a new fuel pump on. Do I have to buy the whole fuel pump assembly of can I just buy a new fuel pump and install it in the old assembly? The price is less than half for just the fuel pump. Andy

    Running E-10 and E-15 gas

    I have a 97 Tahoe and looks like most of the gas station in my area (NC) are now using E-10 fuel and they may be moving up to E-15. Are there any bad effects of this with my truck? I know my mileage will fall of a bit but will it hurt the fuel system? Thanks, Andy
