Flush

I am about to finish this A/C project. I don't think the compressor "came apart" and the lines look clean not black or gunky. Do I still need to do a flush out?

Replacing orifice tube

I found where the orifice tube is and I got the old one out, difficult, now I can't get the new one in. On this model is it made in the condenser and not replacable?

This happened to me too, If it looks identical to the old one it should fit. Mine almost refused to go in, make sure to put a dab of mineral oil on the o-ring and just keep trying, it WILL go in.

The guys in our shop had the same problem with mine.
New condensors don't come with the orifice tube in them.

They had a bear of a time to get it in.
They ended up making a homemade tool out of a length of tubing and cutting slots in the end to push the OT in. Similar to THIS tool but homemade.

Hope that helps!
