Some here saying the diesel is junk and some saying the gas engines are junk. I don't know - just go with the engine that makes the most sense to you. Here's a write up on the reliability of the 6.2L gas.

So I'm reading about all these lifter issues with AFM on 6.2L but I just got my 2023 Tahoe with 6.2L and it doesn't go in V4 mode - all 8 cylinders are working all the time so I don't think mine came with AFM. It does have auto stop but no V4.
Am I missing anything?
That definitely disabled the speed sign! All gone! It appears you have to have a subscription for it to work so if you don't want to pay for a subscription then just disable it and all good!

I have a new 2023 Tahoe with 6.2L and the transmission makes a bit of a whirring noise going from gear 3 to 4 then disappears. The car runs great and engine sounds nice and throaty and loving the car so far except for that bit of whirring from the transmission.
