I do not have the adaptive module. All I had to do was cut the opening on the passenger side. I would like to sort out a winch mount. So far the ones I have found state they do not work on the diesel.
I bought the OEM hooks and they were worthless.

I am in SoCal. The photo is St George in the background. I got the Kings from Core Tire in San Bernardino (best tire shop experience ever). I do not recall how much, but they were pricey. Most of everything front-end is compatible with Silverado. King makes IFS rear-specific shocks for the platform.
