I picked up my 2024 Yukon Denali with the trailering technology package. I'm trying to set up my invisible camera and have a persistent error that I can't clear. I'm doing the calibration drive at the recommended speed on a good road with no curves. I've tried unplugging everything, engine...
GM accepted the order from my dealer about three weeks ago. When should I expect a status change and build date? Are they catching up in anticipation of cutting off for 2025 production?
I was on the wait list for a 2025, but when I saw the fingerprint magnet (touch screen) and through-the-bumper exhaust, I decided to go for a 2024. I found one that a local dealer has ordered that matched everything in my build except power steps (constraints). Close enough. Order has been...
I'm not crazy about the exhaust through the fascia, but glad to see they got rid of the mini van tailgate look. I've got a 25 ordered, but don't expect to see it until late 24/early 25 unless GM decides to cut off 24 production and start early.
I got that email too. Lamest “first peak” ever. A headlight with a disclaimer that it is pre-production and may not be the same in production. Alrighty then.
I'm at 91k on my 2018. I haven't kept many vehicles over 100, but this one is certainly going there before I get the new one. I'm tempted to just cancel my 2024 order and wait for a 2025. Considering the price and scarcity of the new ones, maybe our 100+ used will hold value a bit better.
A lot of those "matches" are vehicles that have been ordered by the dealer, but don't physically exist. They may even be spoken for and have someone's name on them already.
Is anyone living today actually going to own one of these? I'm already on my third model year change of delays. If I reorder a 25 sometime in 24, it will probably end up being a 2027
Add-a-Fuse is probably the safest option while still under warranty. Don't give them any excuses to claim you caused a problem.
BTW: With the popularity of dash cams and all the electronic sensors and crap they stuff into these vehicles, isn't it kind of odd that a factory installed dash...

We're taking a road trip of a few thousand miles in May, so it would be nice to have the new one. My 2018 has 91,000 and counting. Fingers crossed.
I don't have a deep understanding of the ordering process. He was just able to order it as a 24 within the past few days. I assume it's out of their hands at this point and dependent on GM to get it done
I was just able to build a 2024 on the website, but my dealer says it's not at all certain I'll end up with one. They may switch to 2025s before my order would move to the top.
I'm seriously starting to wonder if there is going to be any significant 2024 production (I'm on the dealer's wait list). Maybe they'll just introduce the 2025 in early 24??
Dang this is a disappointing thread. I've always thought the GM Infotainment system was weak and was hoping for some improvement on my next vehicle. Looks like they've done the impossible and made it WORSE!
Does Apple Car Play in the 2022+ connect via WiFi/Bluetooth, or do you have to plug...
I am probably still one year down the waiting list on 2024 orders, so my 87,000mile 2018 needs to hang in there. I agree that our existing trucks will lose some value, but we are also getting use out of them between now and trade in. By effectively amortizing their original purchase over an...
I've had an order in for about 6 months and it will be filled with a 24. Based on more recent reports and the order sheets, I expect it to be identical to a 23 despite spy photos. We'll see.
