    PO446, proper troubleshoot?

I'll check it out, thanks! The purge valve would be a lot easier to replace, so hopefully that's the cause

    PO446, proper troubleshoot?

What 3 parts are you suggesting? Purge, solenoid, and pressure sensor, or canister? I think the canister is 200-something itself. I'm leaning towards it being the pressure sensor, because of the dust, but I hope not, because that apparently means dropping the fuel tank

    PO446, proper troubleshoot?

2002 Z-71 Tahoe, 225k miles. Driving down a lot of dusty dirt roads, this code is common for the clogged evap solenoid, so I replaced it and reset the light. 2 days later, it's back. Upon searching for what's next, I just get a ton of vids "it's this, it's that, no you have to replace this"...

2002 Tahoe e-fans and volt gauge

What confused me was that it is doing this at highway speeds, at idle it barely even does it. When I get up to 2k RPM's driving down the highway, that's when the needle is rapidly bouncing

2002 Tahoe e-fans and volt gauge

I don't really know what the big 3 is, can you explain? So I need to put a volt meter at each end of the cables and see if they are fluctuating also?

2002 Tahoe e-fans and volt gauge

I don't think increasing the idle would fix my issue on this one, I should have mentioned it does it even at highway speeds, so running 2,000 rpm it is still bouncing rapidly.

2002 Tahoe e-fans and volt gauge

Could this fix the voltage fluctuation issue? Is the KG4 higher amp than the KG-3, or just better in other ways but still 145 a?

2002 Tahoe e-fans and volt gauge

I don't see an engraving, but it does say remanufactured for AC Delco

2002 Tahoe e-fans and volt gauge

Thanks for the reply. Fans and harness are from an '05. I tapped into the clutch signal wire under the fuse box. I thought all the Z-71's were the larger alternator, I didn't know they didn't do the upgrade until '05, that may be my issue then. I'll check my code in the glovebox this...

2002 Tahoe e-fans and volt gauge

Seen several posts about volt gauge bouncing around, but my situation seems a bit different since I just changed to electric fans, which is when it started. So, '02 Z71 Tahoe, volt gauge always sits at 14 and never seems to move. I added electric fans and got rid of the clutch fan, and now...

    Electric fan wiring question

Figured it out, turns out both blue wires from the fuse block are supposed to tie together. Problem solved, everything works great

    Electric fan wiring question

So AC turns on passenger fan to high, like it's supposed to. Operating temp without ac is both fans on low, which works. But AC with operating temp combined is supposed to be both fans high. Instead, when it gets to that point, it turns the drivers fan off, and turns the passenger fan on...

    Electric fan wiring question

Found out the wiring for the ground, so apparently only the fan with the black wire goes to the frame for ground, just like in the photo from Fless. The other 3 fan wires go straight towards the fuse block, but the black heads to the frame to ground before carrying on to the fuse block.

    Electric fan wiring question

That's what I was thinking, one of those wires on each fan is a ground, so tap into each ground and ground it to the frame,l as it continues it's way to the fuse block, if I am seeing this correctly.

    Electric fan wiring question

Hello everyone, got a 2002 Z71 Tahoe, clutch fan. Found an electric fan and fuse block in the junk yard, and had them take it out for me. They split the harness between the fuse block and the fans, but most of the wiring looks pretty straight forward, colors just go back together it looks...

2018 Denali acts weird in rain?

I'm not sure if they did or not actually, I'll ask them next time I'm over there at their house. I guess I may just have to Wait until it rains to have an update otherwise

2018 Denali acts weird in rain?

Got back from alignment this afternoon, they said it was way off. Of course now since the rain stopped, we might have to wait to know whether it actually solved the problem or not, but it sounds promising, knowing it was not even close to being correct apparently

2018 Denali acts weird in rain?

They are making appointment for an alignment and full inspection of the suspension and steering this week, so maybe that will uncover some answers. My dad says he drove it and took it down some roads that have uneven pavement, and noticed it does seem to wonder around the road a lot, so I I...

2018 Denali acts weird in rain?

Not really, there is no movement in the steering wheel from what I understand. Instead of a wobble it seems more like the whole vehicle whipping back and forth, almost like hydroplaning to one side except when it starts to one side it whips back the other way and just gets caught in a sudden...

2018 Denali acts weird in rain?

Rear shocks are the factory ones. I would think if it is swinging back and forth it would seem like sway bar and other bushings, but that just seems kind of surprising at 100k miles. My 2002 has 223k and is just now starting to feel like it needs swaybar bushings. I'm wondering if it has...

2018 Denali acts weird in rain?

Hello everyone, sorry for the late response. It only does it if it is raining and pretty wet, which is what made me think tires at first. The Yukon has 102,000 miles. The leveling kit is a 2" kit, and the struts are Arnott. They mentioned that it doesn't have to be puddles, but it does have...
