I actually have it mounted a little...
I made sure to check that and I still have plenty of downward travel. I dont think it was a full 2" in the front I just put 2" blocks in the back because it was sagging to begin with. Here is a link to the pics:

I would like to figure out how to wire them to where they would work automatically with reverse lights or with a switch, but i'm not very good with wiring stuff. I want to do it right but don't really know what is the right way.
Does anyone else have problems seeing when backing up at night? I cant see a thing. Im thinking about mounting some fog lights near the hitch and wiring them to the reverse lights. Has anyone done this before? Do you have any pics and or advice?
I just cranked my torsion bars added 2" blocks in the rear and heavy duty shocks in the rear. It did away with most of the body roll and stiffened it up just right.
Well I got it today and the brackets don't fit but the brush guard does fit the front of the tahoe pretty good. I just have to make new brackets, Shouldn't be too bad tho.
I have no problem making some new brackets for it, Im just wondering how it would look. It's a pretty good drive to meet him to look at it so I was just going to check on here to see if it has been done before.
I have a quick question about a brush guard. A friend of mine has a Westin brush guard that he had on his 05 tahoe and he is selling it. I have a 99 tahoe and want a brush guard. Will it fit? Would it look bad? Anyone have any pics of one by any chance?
