    Incorrect cam timing will cause low compression numbers also. So if it does have a stretched timing chain and did spin a lifter, it still would all be fixed by a proper afm delete kit with cam... Assuming it didn't send a ton of metal through the system.

    On the drivers side of the transmission with the cable attached. I've seen the range sensor get rusted up enough that it just can't be pushed over enough to register park.

    Never done it without a scan tool. There may be a code in there to help point you in the right direction of the procedure doesn't work.

    There is a calibration procedure for the transfer case encoder motor that needs to be done with a scan tool. Do you know if that was done?

    I contacted GM fraud department about those struts on eBay and they assured me that they are indeed counterfeit. They stated they will be contacting ebay about them.

    Pop the valve cover back off and check to see if all the pushrods are centered in the hole through the head. I have done a bunch of these where the lifter stuck at some point, it bent the pushrod, but then the lifter unsticks. When looking for the ticking the rocker will still move up and down...
