Less than top notch tires for a good deal in 265/65R18

I've used Sumitomo tires on my wife's vehicles with no issues. I research tires on Tire Rack when I need tires and read what other owners have to say about them. General are also good. I used them on my old Tundra I used to own; they lasted longer than any other offroad tire I tried.

    Second Tahoe for me

I just looked at your sig line and noticed that your 1972 LeMans was my first car I put any kind of miles on. Got any pics of it? Mine had a 350, 3 speed auto on the floor.

Apparently Ford doesn't like profits: alienating the majority of Americans

Theoretically I agree with this. And I do agree we need government, for the reason I listed. And I also agree that the people in government are the problem. I'll also go one step beyond this and say this: as someone who trys to pour everything I learn through the sieve that is the Bible I...

Apparently Ford doesn't like profits: alienating the majority of Americans

I misunderstood your statement. My point being even if government decides it is going to take them away my rights still exist. Their attempting to do so is exercising power that hasn't been granted to them.

Apparently Ford doesn't like profits: alienating the majority of Americans

If I had the power to do so I'd double down on the extraction of "fossil" fuels. We have a lot of them, gas and coal in my area, and by not utilizing our own natural resources we're willingly held hostage to our "enemies" by our backward policies. The whole "climate change" agenda is an attempt...

Apparently Ford doesn't like profits: alienating the majority of Americans

That is the theory, but my rights are granted by God and even if government decides it will try to take them away it will not happen willingly or easily. During "covid," as a govenment employee, I was mandated to take the jab. I told them to pound sand. And never did take that mandated jab...

    Hello from NEPA

We heat our home with wood/coal, my wife and I are generally reclusive, we're born again Christians and attend a small independent Baptist church, and we both enjoy working out and staying in shape. I harvest deer off our property and this year I found out I really enjoy gardening. You can see...

    Hello from NEPA

Other things I should have added in my intro post are some of my interests. I'm about 16 months from retirement from the Bureau of prisons and also worked for the Florida department of corrections for 10 years previously. I was raised in NEPA, moved to Florida for 15 years, met my wife, and we...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I replaced the radiator yesterday. It wasn't leaking but with 242,000 miles it was preventative maintenance. I've got to get some Dex cool today and fill it back up and burp it. First time I've done something like this but youtube is a good resource. You can tell me how to do something but...

Apparently Ford doesn't like profits: alienating the majority of Americans

Government intrusion into anything ruins it. Tier 4 tractors, ethanol in gasoline, turbo charged 4 and 6 cylinder engines instead of V-8's, AFM, etc. All to please the EPA.

I replaced the original ignition coils with Delphi units. I believe one of the coils was on its way to failure so I replaced all 8 as insurance.

    2005 Z71 radiator replacement recommendation

I just joined this forum a short while ago and left an intro in the introduction section. I'd like to replace the (as far as I know) original radiator in my '05 Z71 5.3L to prevent future problems. 242,000 miles on the motor and it runs great, but the Tahoe is our back-up vehicle, not a daily...

    Hello from NEPA

New forum member here from NE PA. I purchased an '05 Tahoe Z71 from a good friend of mine a bit over a year ago. At the time it had 236,000 miles on it; now it has 242,000. It's our back-up vehicle, but we also used it on a family (wife and I, plus 3 dogs; now we have 4) vacation last June to...
